Social media links on EVERY post now?

social media buttons are not needed on every single post -the option at the top of the page is fine.

problems

can not scroll without lag

lags

people will click the wrong like button

some people want privacy and do not want there posts posted all over the world-to much like big brother spying on you

and everyone hates it and it does look trashy

i hate this twit crap!! how can i get rid of it.... even if it didnt slow down everything i still wouldnt want it. its crap!!

I don't use Twit, FB, or any of that stuff. Don't want to see it all over the place, in MY posts especially and slowing down the loading.

Funny, I haven't seen a single supporter yet. Hey, even if I DID participate in those social media, I still wouldn't like this.

The disable Social buttons features doesn't work. Reminds me of the Disable Like Notifications setting....

When the forum is "updated" it seems standard to have stuff added/changed but it takes awhile before the "turn it off/back the way it was" feature takes a little while longer to get working. I'm SURE OldSoldier will get it turned off, or at least give us the ability to turn it off, but may not be right away.

Patient people! In the meantime, grab your favorite pv and come on over to my house!

I was able to block facebook with my host file but can't work out how to get rid of the other 2

right click again and copy hyper link
highlight picture than click link paste http than add arrow and text after the pasted stuff and poof your done

Wow page loading now is like watching paint dry, grass grow or sloths mate! It was bad enough with FB and twitter buttons in the header now we are bombarded with them on every post. I wonder how many members think this is a step forward and something they just could not live without???? From the amount of traffic already here on this thread ECF should see this is NOT a good idea. Please inform us of what value these buttons add to the ECF Community. I know ECF is always updating but we should have the ability to block this type of stuff including the FB button in the header. Many of the posts are from supporting members here and our opinions should weigh heavily on your desicion to eliminate these buttons
