Social media links on EVERY post now?

I thought PM's were/are considered "personal" & it was/is a BIG NONO to ever quote/post anything from a PM...?

if you insist on having them, they can be loaded without blocking the rest of the page like they are now, and without making the whole page feel laggy. i'd be happy to show your developers how to do this, have them shoot me a PM or email.

My Ad blocker doesn't block links on web pages. That would be pointless.

I had to break down and download Google Chrome! A quick add on of WidgetBlock and BAMMMMMMMM Death to that cancerous Facebook Crap. Now the site is loading like lightning. So ECF please do not say the widgets you are jamming down our throats are not slowing the site down because they are!

Every post no longer has the annoying "new" social-media links at the top of EVERY post...that is correct. And it doesn't matter where in ECF I go...they are no longer there. Period. My Adblocker Plus, I blocked only those new social-media links. I have no use for them at the top of each post, or anywhere else, for that matter.

Presumably, there's a money issue here; dollars a flowin' from FB to Twitter to ECF.

Whatever revenue is generated from Supporting Members is, I'm sure, miniscule in the larger picture, but each aforementioned member can vote with their closed wallets next time they get a renewal notice.

A failure to support this crap may be feeble, but it'll give me a little satisfaction.
