Its just as good. Imeo will be sending a few GGTS ody bases to his suppliers real soon so be on watch.

I've tried my Ody in big mode a few times, but never have any luck - leaking issues. I still mess with it now and then, I'll figure it out someday.

I don't have an ODY v2 in full mode or I would do a video on it. if you like maybe you can send it to me and I can check it out for you video tape it on my you tube channel and mail it back.

you grab the negative wire with the big ring Yeti. But if you try new style Ody rebuildable part you will not have leackage at all

Yeah, Imeo, I've tried the 'wrap neg wire under ring' trick...doesn't work for me.
The leaking in big mode for me only occurs just after filling, and then again when the juice level gets down to about 1/3 full. It must have something to do with the positive pressure just after filling and the negative pressure after juice level drops...or something. I believe the leaking comes from too much juice traveling up the wick, and dripping from the coil. Although it could be seeping around the bottom ring, but I've tried it with no wire trapped under the ring and I still get leaking.
I've tried 2 wicks on coil only and 2 wicks down the channels with the same results. 2 wicks down the channels is very hard to do - when I screw on the ring it always tears up the wick a bit.
Maybe I'll have to order that new V2 part after all.

Yes, mainly the ceramic housing and ceramic.

The Odysseus V2 "Small Cap Mouthpiece Nut" has a scalloped design:
When filling try to not put the o ring on until after screwing the top on so it is not as much pressure, the other way by screwing it on with o ring on it will create pressure and thus gurgle and leaking..

Yes Imeo, I've seen your non-leaking big mode before. This time around though, you're using the V2 - that's cheating!
When you say to use 3.5mm wick, is that what I got? I got all my wick from Bruce shortly after the V1 Ody came out, and I now see he has 3.5 and 3.0 but I don't remember what size I got - I am sure he only had one size at the time though.
Regardless, I just can't get mine to not leak...I'm sure it's user error, no fault of your wonderful design. I even get gurgling and some small leakage in short mode from time to time.
I haven't messed with it since posting last, but I think I'm gonna try my hand at a dual coil tonight...in BIG mode. I'll report back!

ah, sorry yeti, I made this video forgetting that you have the V1 style. Then you just have to put the negative wire inside slot but not under the wick but above the wick, so it will make contact with the big ring and the base of Ody
