I've been using the Atlantis for a couple weeks now, and I want to share a few things I've experienced!

First off, this tank is really misty and spitty. I get mist, zapping specks, and juicy lips with every puff. The coils are not flooded in the least, I make sure of that, but these coils just seem to send a mist of juice into the mouth. I've tried 4 coils and they've all started doing this after the first tank refill.

I've been testing out different mods to see if power and regulation is a problem, and I've found that 32 watts seems to give a much drier vape (in this situation, it's a good thing) than 30 watts and below... and it doesn't seem like I can reach 32 watts with a single unregulated 18650.

At 35 watts or above, though, I kept getting a really bad, burny rubber taste, and I think 35 watts is really the limit for it. But between 30 and 35 watts, it really seems to give the smoothest, best vape.

I really think a regulated box is the best for this tank, especially because with these coils, they do have a burny mechanical taste for about the first 5 puffs with a new coil, no matter how well-soaked they are, so a regulated box may also help prevent this if you start the power low and work up. If you don't start with low power, it also seems to cause a flavor muting that just never recovers.

The great things are that these coils last forever without tasting burny whatsoever. I've went through an entire 15ml with one coil and it still tastes clean as a whistle. I really recommend this tank but I think the coils spit and mist way too much, and if you need more flexibility with power or devices, I might say try the Subtank first... I haven't tried it yet but these Atlantis coils have really given me a lot of misting issues!

What is your VG/PG ratio? I am vaping 70vg 30pg and although I may get a pop or crackle occasionally, I do not have lips wet from juice. Thinner juice could be the cause.

I am using the CF SUB battery and getting a pretty smooth vape every time. I think you are right about having it on a regulated mod.

I do have the Kanger sub tank on order. It has some pretty big shoes to fill, my experience with the Atlantis thus far has been nothing less than wonderful.

I havent experienced this mist thing with mine it may give a lil poping here and there with a higher pg juice. I have ran it at 50 watts with only a few dry hits with 80% vg prob not and issue with higher pg. Anywhere between 30 and 45 hasnt been an issue with the 80 % vg. I also been running it on my mech lately with no issues either.

I too use it around 30-40 watts with no issue.Try a different liquid and also make sure it is together tight.I ran into an issue when using on a mech and it was shorting. My local store called the mod maker and their tests saw this and found it has to be tight,if not the nipple on the screw in part doesn't protrude enough.but besidesb this this unit has been great

First off do you have an authentic device with authentic coils? Yes there are clones.

Second how do you know the coils aren't flooded? I've been doing this for over a year, and I don't even know how to check that. Unless I hear a popping noise while vaping or have juice pouring out the air holes I have no idea as to the coils status. The only other thing I can think of is that you're sucking to hard.

I've been vaping an atlantis a lot for six weeks, 50/50 liquid, 25 watts, second to the largest opening, still on the original coil, no issues. I'm waitig on some one ohm coils from fasttech hoping I can try firing it below 25 watts on my IPV s2. If the one ohm coils work properly then may be the atlantis can be a better beginner tank than the N mini.
