So a question to you guys using the black scheme: is this text white to you? I just don't get how you can read the rest of the website when the default text color is black.

Also, being a user of AutoCAD, I get why you'd go with a black background. But if you are going to differentiate between text of two people, I'd reccomend just using italics or bold text, changing the color obviously causes too many problems.

CAN You SEE ME :?:

I personally would have have handwritten it, in long hand, on papyrus with a quill and ink, rolled it up, tied a ribbon around it, and sealed it with a wax stamp. All by candle light. But different strokes for different folks I guess.

So I decided to do a search on this and here's what I found, the usual stuff, but with e-cigarettes being portrayed like this it's no wonder people have issues with being misinformed:

1. Electronic cigarettes contain an antifreeze compound known as Diethylene Glycol. They just say it does, not even that it might. We all know the story here but they aren't telling it. Never mind the countless toxins in tobacco smoke, and the fact that they are there for certain with every puff.

2. Electronic cigarettes also contain "cancer causing compounds such as nitrosamines." They don't mention how much is in tobacco or whether the amount in electronic cigarettes should be a worry, or the fact that smoking tobacco definitely causes cancer at a high rate, while it's unlikely that electronic cigarettes ever would.

3. "Bad marketing" meaning creating delicious flavors may actually entice smoking rather than curb it. This one's pretty funny of course, I think that they are thinking this is a stop smoking aid rather than a much safer alternative. Is there any doubt though that we are dealing with idiots here?

4. Nicotine: Nicotine is evil in their eyes of course, although they don't really get that both choices involve nicotine.

5. Electronic cigarettes contain tetramethylpyrazine. I'm not really up on this one other than the fact I believe the amount contained is much lower than what has been found to cause brain damage. I do believe that the people who wrote this used the higher dosage though.

6. PG causes gastrointestinal irritation. I suppose if you drank enough of it this is possible, although someone needs to mention to these clowns that we don't drink any of it.

7. Here's my favorite:

"There is also a widespread concern that electronic cigarette consumption may promote drug use. There are reports of liquid nicotine being substituted with liquid ..., a popular potent ......... resin. If electronic cigarette e liquid is replaced with addictive drugs, it can become highly damaging to health."

Did he or she say widespread concern? Anyone know which vendors sell this? :D

8: Cost effectiveness. Electronic cigarettes are much more cost effective and that's listed as one of the "dangers."

Finally they sum up by asking whether they are good for you or not and the answer is no. They finally concede that they are less dangerous than smoking. I suppose if you were a non smoker it is possible to be this stupid, where you're contemplating continuing to smoke, quitting altogether, or vaping, and you're completely indifferent to all, and they suggest in that case you just give up nicotine altogether.

They don't even seem to contemplate that nicotine use may be a pleasurable experience and even to the point where people are willing to sacrifice many years of life expectancy to experience it. So when an alternative comes along where you can get the benefits without any real costs in terms of health, at least outside of the mentally ......ed view on this that they espouse, then anyone who is this concerned about the health of their fellow man should be ecstatic I would think. Ahh, if so many people weren't brain damaged, what a wonderful world it would be....
