First off KUDOS to Vickie and Cignot awesome awesome is all I have to say.

I am thrilled with my ego but I have a couple questions.....
1. A dead battery says it will take 4 hours (1000 MaH) to charge and my light turns green in appx. an hour charging on the USB connector connected to my IPOD USB car charger spot. Is this fully charged? Should it be left for the 4 hours? I mean I am getting a lot of life out of them and have no complaints just a little confused on this point.

2. Attys are the next point.... I am using a standard 510 with it.... should I go LR or tank or cone or what? I know this is sorta preference of the user but I just dont know what I can use with it should use with it etc. Any input is appreciated since before this I was strictly 510 for about 5 months.

1. I have to say that perplexes me... now the Amperage will affect the time it takes to charge but that seems really fast. I really have never timed how long it takes to charge, but I would have to say I would be suspect of the charger an hour is too quick.

2. Oh... that really is so much a personal preference. That battery can handle any atomizer we sell and I think you should decide what irritates you the most about what you are using now and email me. That will lead us to your next step.

Hi there,

Vicky has helped me hugely in the not so distant past with a similar dilemma.

1) From my experience with 1000mAh battery charging the only time it charged that fast was the first charge I ever did on each battery. After that though it would take a at least a couple of hours. I never really timed it, just popped it in the wall charger when it was dead and switched to my backup battery. Then when I noticed the light had turned green then I would unplug it from the wall. I try not to let it charge over night but I'm pretty sure there's an overcharge protector built-in.

2) In order I've tried: 510 atty (drip and non-drip), B-type tanks with regular and LR (Low-Resistance) atties (from Cignot), mega cartomizers (from Cignot), 510 xl clearomizers (Totally Wicked), and just recently the mega dual coil cartomizers from Madvapes (just had them a day). All of the above can be run off the 1000mAh batteries, really anything with a regular 510 connection can be run off the batteries just fine.

There is no "should" use with any of the items or any PV. It is, as everyone will agree and you yourself pointed out, a purely personal preference issue. The reasons I switched from dripping on my 510 atty to the B-type tank system were that the battery on the regular 510s just didn't last long enough for me and that I wanted something that would enable to keep vaping for longer without having to do anything. The rest was just for experimentation.

For ease of use I would go with the cartomizers. The cartomizers that Vicky sells are great. They hold about 2mls of juice and vape great! You will need a syringe for filling. While they are designed to be disposable they can be refilled a number of times and used until they start tasting nasty then you can toss them or try to mod them as you can find in other parts of the forums. The mega dual coil cartos I just got from Madvapes are enormous, almost as long as the battery itself. They hold about 4-5mls of liquid and vape well. I have had one just die on me after one day of use so I'm not ecstatic about them and they taste and vape the same as the regular mega cartos but with more throat hit. Cartos will develop a nasty flavour after several refils as the filler material starts to get gunked up and juice residue burns on them.

The xl clearomizers I find are very flimsy but while they work they produce a very warm and tasty vape but will probably never order them again. Very muted throat hit when comparing the same juice in different vaping formats.

The B-type tank system is my standby but they do require more maintenance and can be prone to leaking so they are more fussy but I like them and use them frequently. Nothing quite like a freshly cleaned atty and fresh tank of juice. Did try a LR atty and didn't really notice a difference, I think it's more a function of the juice whether you'll find having a LR atty will improve the vaping experience or not.

In general though the darker the juice, the quicker your cartos/atties will gunk up.

Hope this helps. If you have any questions feel free to contact me or post here but Vicky is extremely helpful and she'll be a great source of info.

OK let me start with saying I am in NO way unhappy at all I love the Egos and I have nothing but good good things to say about Cignot. I figured out the charging issue it had to do with a dual slot usb connector and the ego does not like it so that is a non issue and the batteries are monsters in terms of how long they last anyway, though I am still pleased I opted for three. I was trying to decide with the second thing what would save me from filling constantly I am going to go ahead I think and get a tank style atty I just dont want to keep adding several drops over and over. It is all good I was just a very confused newbie the live chats helped a lot though and I am much less confused as of late.
Thank you both for answering though :)
