Got my Grant today and the 3mm do matter

Its stiffer than the Trans, but i'm sure i'll get used to it
Is this a different button than the Trans as the base of it is different too?(its still a lockable one).

you really do have to get yourself a GGTransformer,
it is an amazing piece of kit ----
you really will adore it,
smokes for 12 hours on 1 charge on the 18650 - 3.7 volts battery,
with copious amounts of warm and luscious smoke,
and if you make it into the GG Grant
you can enjoy 4 hours of fantastically voluptuous
warm and luscious smoke on the 2 x 3 volts batteries
so you are covered, and will be ecstatic with it Tribal,

Hey Tribe if its to any consolation, either am I old friend.
Now I could sell my GG Grant and buy a Trans or perhaps swap it, trouble is it has the old button and needs a polish, no one would want that!!

and they fit perfectly into the GGT with no spacers --

I have the TrustFire Multifunctional charger
model # TR-001
they fit into this one, very tight, but fit and charge good.
and as I said they fit well to the GGT with no magnet spacers.

I'm using those batteries now....got them yesterday...one of them is a tight fit but still works....

Yes, Moog,
I think some of the springs are a little shorter than others on the endcap of some of the GGT
and I think some people have stretched their spring up a little bit too.
so it depends which camp you are in..........
but do not worry,
the GGT works just fine with the spacers in with the battery also,
I have used spacers with my other 18650 batteries,
and it works just fine,
I put my spacers on the positive end of my battery
I did see where Imeo said to put them on the negative end of the battery..
is there a special reason for putting the spacers on the particular end of the battery.
could someone explain that for us please....

obviously it works by putting them on either end then,
I just wonder if there a special reason that they should go on one end or the other ??????
