I know I have made all my best life decisions while hammered at a bar. :p

Just don't ever try to have a relationship with anyone you meet at a bar; that never works out well. :D I've found that meeting people at AA can also be troublesome, but generally works out better -- we've been married almost 28 yrs now. :D

That's too funny and really cool. I had a "special" sponsor for the first year. But really had no interest in marrying some one as messed up as me. Lol

Well, we've been together over 28 yrs, and happily married for nearly 28 yrs... but our sobriety is only 22 yrs old, which illustrates the "troublesome" nature of AA relationships. :D You can help each other up, but just as easily drag each other down. But only someone as messed up as me could possibly cope with me. :D (and likewise, for my husband!)

Been a distant friend of Bill myself for over 20 years. I do on occasion have a glass of wine or a snifter of cognac but I don't go to the bar seeing how many Crown bags I can bring home each night (but I do have a one of a kind Crown bag king size quilt my wife made me two years ago for Christmas from all the bags I collected)

Back on track though, I just had a random guy approach me at the airport last Friday expounding about how those things blow up while pointing at my Sigelei. I asked him to please tell me more, he went on about some guy he knows who knows a guy who heard about a guy that blew his leg off with on of those pointing at my Sigelei again. So I countered with the truth about the mod having a thermal event in the guys pants pocket, showed him an eGo twist like the one in question.

He then took a different path telling me how dangerous the vapor is so I finally gave in and offered that telling someone how dangerous vaping is can be bad for your health and walked away.

He chain smoked 3 Winston's during this encounter but what he's doing is far less dangerous that what I'm doing in his mind.

I was out at the bar over the weekend, and went out to the smoking area to vape. I use and istick and nautilus mini, so there were no clouds at all. A couple of people were asking about e-cigs and if they work or not, no problem, I like to talk. Then the one guy starts telling me how he refuses to use them because they cause long term cardio and brain issues... what? I asked where he had heard this, of course he didn't know, he just knew they were bad, and more harmful than cigs. Crazy people, just thought I would share. :facepalm:

Tobacco REVENUES have been falling; they hit the 10% drop maybe a year ago, so their PR is in fightback mode, Loss Control, stoploss etc; there's been a media blitz persistent over the last year;

Sometimes it's best to say absolutely nothing and let a niiiiiicccceeeeeeeee sloooooooooww vape and a big cloud do the talking.................... with a smile :)

Hey now...... I met my wife at the bar and happily married for 7 years this September :D Although, we were not much of bar goers as it was. Just a friend of mine wanting her friend to meet me. ;)

The last person to mention that kind of info to me I kindly said, "I can count all the ingredients on my one hand. Can you do that with your smokes?
