I work at Outback steakhouse and I asked my proprietor if I could use my ecig inside when I was out of uniform and he was completely ok with it. I was curious as to why he was so acceptable and I come to find out that his wife is an E-cig smoker lol! The crazy thing is that he is pretty strict, he won't even let us sit at our own bar! You never know what people will say, especially restaurant owners.:D

Absolutely, you never know until you ask. I've had a lot of problems that seemed impossible to fix that simply vanished when I asked a few questions. Some people will go to amazing lengths to help you, if you only ask. I've saved thousands of dollars and an unknowable amount of frustration by simply asking a few questions of the right person.

It's nice to hear more and more stories of mangers/owners allowing the use of PV's in their establishments. This is perhaps one of the best ways among many that public acceptance can be achieved.

A few weeks ago we went to a local Bugaboo restaurant and while being seated I asked the hostess if I could use my personal vaporizer and he said "no problem". I really don't think he knew exactly what I was referring to, but there were children sitting next to us so I never used it anyway. Common courtesy can go a long way.
