Hello, I have been looking around for a while about some gear I want to get, but as I am coming closer to actually pulling the trigger, I am getting second thoughts about everything.

Right now I am interested in a Cloupor T5, but they are actually taking pre orders for the T6 and the T8 I believe, T6 houses a single 26650 up to 100W, and the T8 Will be able to hold 2 18650 and do 150Watt, not that I actually care for that at this point in time, but who knows in the future?

As for rba, I am really interested in trying the kayfun lite +, the magma, the quasar, and I already have some nautilus and aerotanks. But I would love to get some suggestions if this ones are good drippers? and the kafun is it really worth it or should I consider something simpler like a fogger or a taifun?

And now when it come to DIY juices, I am about to get a UC cleaner, and MFV is having a good sale on nic, a liter for 50 usd, so, that;s that as well.... I know that a liter is too much... but for 50 bucks? SHould I get a few liters of pg or vg as well....?

Too many expenses..... feeling a bit overwhelmed at the moment, so, anyone with a fair experience please advice
Thanks

Sounds like you are so new you simply just dont know what you want.

Try as much as you can!

Buying a device you can grow with is never a bad idea.

Those are all good attys with different strengths.

The Fogger and Taifun (esp the Fogger) are not more simple than a Kayfun.

I prefer dripping, but sometimes practicality calls for a good tank system like a Kayfun, like if I am going to be driving for a long period.

The Magma is my all around fav right now. Top notch flavor and it holds a lot of liquid for a dripper. Very easy to build and maintain as well.

Let's try to put a bit of perspective on this. My all day vape is a mechanical at between 0.4-0.5 ohms, so max 35 watts with a fresh battery, average 27 watts. 50 watts average is what you get from a mech mod at around 0.25 ohms. Very few people vape as high as 50 watts regularly, few do so occasionally.

Around 100 watts is pretty much the limit that a single 18650 can do. It is also IMO more power than anyone would want to vape at regularly and for most people all the power they will ever need even for occasional use. Battery life per charge will be very short and juice consumption will be extremely high.

None of these devices are going to last forever. I would be pretty satisfied if I spent around $100 on one and it lasted me a year.

What are you vaping now and how much power are you using?

And now when it come to DIY juices, I am about to get a UC cleaner, and MFV is having a good sale on nic, a liter for 50 usd, so, that;s that as well.... I know that a liter is too much... but for 50 bucks? SHould I get a few liters of pg or vg as well....?

Vaping at high power levels you will probably not be using more than 6 mg/ml nic and for that, 1 liter of 100 mg nic base will make 16.7 liters of juice (16,700 ml). So if you vape 10 ml a day, that will last you 1,670 days, 4.5 years. 5 ml a day and it will be 9 years. If I got any of these numbers wrong, someone please correct me.

If I were you I would slow down a bit. There will be other good sales on nic base so you don't have to buy a whole liter now. The high power box mod game is changing really fast and I doubt anyone has a good idea of the dependability of a lot of these devices yet.

A lot depends on how satisfied you are with your present vape too. The longer you can hold off buying something now, the more you'll know about the product, about your needs and the less expensive the products will be.

It's a pretty exiting time in the vape world right now. Take your time, get into it at your own pace and enjoy the ride :thumb:

This x100. I've been holding off on a new regulated box mod because there is something new coming out every month. I'm waiting until the innovation sort of slows down so i'm not regretting my purchase in a month.

New stuff seems like it is always coming out. I wouldn't worry about holding off. Just see what is the latest and greatest, then step it back if you don't need all that crap :) I've got a 30w box mod and a mechanical that I use every day (equally). I also have a smoktech SiD as a backup device. If you are getting into RBA and not expecting to cloud chase get a 30w box mod and you should be happy. Do your research, and make sure what you are buying is of good quality (for the money)!

From your post it is difficult to see where you are at in your vape journey, but you may want to slow it down a bit. If this is your first time with RBAs I'd save the DiY juice for later after you loose some enthusiasm for building coils (I've been rebuilding for like a year, and am just now loosing enthusiasm!). Everyone's different, and if you want to do both, go for it, its just seems like a lot to take on. RBAs can be difficult to fine your ideal vape when first starting, mix that with not having good juice because you are still fine tuning your flavors - that would make me very grumpy personally!

As far as RBAs go:
RDAs - magma and quasar rate pretty high.
RTAs - Kayfun style is still king IMO. Some people love Genesis style attys, but I'd stay away from those atleast at first.

I have not checked out the Mods you are looking at, so I wont weigh in more than to say 30w will probably be enough.
Personally, I don't have to have the latest and greatest, I just need something that works. My hana clone and 4nine clone have been putting out well and making me happy! I run around .5 dual on my mech (.5 is total resistance) or 1.4 single, and .8 dual or 1.4 single on my hana clone. the 1.4 single is my kayfun light plus (v1) clone.

sounds like you've done your research on your attys!
Good luck and let us know what you end up getting and how you end up liking it!

Let's try to put a bit of perspective on this. My all day vape is a mechanical at between 0.4-0.5 ohms....

Thanks Ryedan, sorry for the late response, I am vaping right now with an SVD, and while it does it job just fine, and it's a nice piece to take to work with a good tank, I find that at home or with my friends I would love to vape something i can use a decent dripper and blow out bigger vapes.
I am right now at 6 mg, but if I drip, I will go down to 3 or maybe 0, a friend of mine does 0 and I have used his gear so far, and I find it very rewarding, even at 0, i guess i love more the taste and vape more than the nic sensation
I went for the whole liter at this point, because of the price, It was cheaper than .230 ml or pretty close, so I didn't see the point on not buying it, and I also went for the cloupor t5, even if the t6 or t8 come out at a ver similiar price point, i really dont like box mods, at this point in time, I prefer having a few mechs.
I am right now struggling with flavor providers, and I am trying to figure it out what flavors from what provider should I get.

Thanks again

There's nothing wrong with wanting to try a little of everything, we all do...ha! The one piece of advice I would offer would be to take it slow. If you are interested in moving from the BDC style clearos you mentioned, and you want to try the KFL, then start there. If you don't have a mod that will run it effectively, then you can add that as well...good luck

Where I am in my journey.... OMG well, I got to say this, I smoked for about 25 years, increasingly as the last 5 years, and about a month ago, I tried for the first time vaping, and I can still place myself in that moment, I tried a two mints flavor (I am a menthol mint kinf of guy) and I was like wooow... and smiled... it was a true release from analogs at that point.

So I got a few vision spinners for the wife and I, and moved into the SVD, which I do like, but since i also tried dripping from a friend, with 0 nic, I was also hooked as well,

I don't think I am going over 5 ml at this point, but I probably will, since I really enjoy it, and I am not missing nic while I have lowered from 12 to 6 in just a month.

You're welcome Jorge :). I think you'll like the Cloupor t5. As for the nic base, I would put it in 200 or 250 ml glass bottles and put them in the freezer. They will last for many years with minimal degradation of the nicotine.

Have you found the DIY sub-forum here yet? It's very active and there are some real experts there. There is also a lot of good info in the stickied threads at the top of that page.

Good luck with it :thumb:

Regarding the DIY e-juice, +1 for what Ryedan said above. Also, don't assume you need to buy a bunch of VG and/or PG right away, a liter of either will last a very long time. If you have really determined if you prefer a juice that is higher in VG or PG, a liter of the one you use more of and a smaller amount of the other will still last a long time. If you haven't determined that yet, 120 ml of each will be enough to experiment with PG/VG ratios and find out what works for you.

Do visit the DIY subforum Ryedan provided a link to. 100 mg/ml nic base is strong stuff and could pose some risks, so the info in the stickies there is well worth reading. Regarding the UC, many feel that a crockpot works just as well for steeping, but a UC does have other uses that might or might not be useful for you.
