Hey Guys,

I see things have changed in reoland a little in terms of whats available for sale. I am happy with the reomizer2 but down the road to have more options for rbas would be great. So this puts me in the low profile land i guess? What does SL stand for that I see in the store?

Now of course want my cake and too eat it too :). good cake-lots of frosting.....but im also looking for a harder hitting reo. I'm a noobie when comes to this physics stuff. But I gather that involves voltage drop etc. I not interested in having the Best numbers and too see how low I can go. but I definitely like to subohm in the .6-1 range.

I found my older reos a little weak. when I put the reomizer on another 3.7 device and take a hit it feels much harder to me (could be in my head).

So, Im assuming the new contact of copper/gold plated that strikes the battery will help in getting a harder hitting reo? I read most of current or voltage loss is in the spring and I can experiment with fuses. not really interested quite yet in that.

Would like to buy a harder hitting reo that can fit more rbas? which reo should I look at then? Just a regular LP REO? Are there any major drawbacks to them now that they have been out for awhile?

Finally is there any way to just buy the copper contact thingee to install in other reos without having to buy a whole rebuild kit? Is there a way to buy them from the store or to make them easily (i am not handy)

Thanks so much

Flex, I'll try to answer what I can. Modfather is coming with some BF atomizers in the near future. If you decide on the LP model you should also get the LP RM2. The regular RM would look weird on the LP. SL stands for Super Light. It is the Reo that is air conditioned(lots of slots). Hard Hit/Soft Hit is pretty much a subjective thing. Can't help you there.
The LP is the one you want for all most all BF RBAs. As for the Sub Ohm kit, you have to buy the whole enchilada, which you need any way. It is gold plated Br. copper.
Hope I helped a little. I'm on my 5th day, so a newbie I am. Some of the vets will be along.

Welcome back.

The REOs offered currently will include the new gold plated beryllium copper contacts and will offer a great vape for the coil resistance you have in mind. The SL option are the Super Light models that Rob has drilled out to create a old school gasser take on weight reduction. HTTH but the options are still quite vast, just pick the one that stands out to you.

You've actually got a really good grasp on everything. Rob released new gold plated berylium copper contacts for the REO's to increase the conductivity (reduce resistance) of the mods. The battery see's the total resistance of the mod which is RCoil + RMod and Power (watts) is consumed by both the mod and the coil. Therefor the less resistance in the mod means more power available to the coil which = harder hitting REO.

The new contacts are on every single REO that Rob sells, the old contacts are not offered anymore. So if you buy a new REO it will have the new contacts already installed. If you have an old REO you would like to over haul you would need to buy the repair kit which comes with the new spring, firing pin, and heat resistant button. With the new contacts there is no need to do the fuse mod. That said, if you don't want to spend the $25 bucks on the repair kit you can get some 0.011" brass shim and make your own firing pin, and then take a 10A car fuse and bend the legs and replace the spring with the fuse. If you want to go that route let me know and I can point you in the right direction, but TBH its easier to just buy the repair kit, or send your REO to Rob to have him install the contacts.

The LP, and new contacts have been working out fantastic for me, no drawbacks that I have encountered for the month or so I've had mine.

SL stands for super light, LP is low profile which allows you to use any RDA on top, ut if you still use carto's (not RDA's like the RM2) you may still want the standard REO with the juice well.
