Some help with my carts

Hello everyone its me again! I've now been analog free for 4 days woo! I've been using the modernvapor.com's 902 and loving it so far. I've been having a little trouble with the carts. I had ordered the blue foam with my kit and after a couple fills I ditched the polyfil that came with the carts and put in the blue foam. Seemed to work great at first, but the cart still seems to taper off rather quickly. It like the first 5 or so drags are amazing, but then vapor production seems to drop off rather quickly.

Am I vaping on it too much too fast? I seem to want to take 5-10 drags at a time. Its already starting to get old topping off the carts when it seems like I just filled them. Is there something else I can do or try?

I have been using my V4L cartos as well, and while they seem much much more consistent, they do not give off the same amount of vapor or flavor. But like I said, they seem to hit the same whether its just a couple hits or if I am chain vaping with them. Is this just the nature of carts vs cartos?

When you top off your blue foam carts, how many drops are they taking? Usually when I start to get that empty cart taste, it will initially take 4 to 5 drops til it pools. Then I use a bent paper clip to slightly lift the foam and it soaks in allowing another couple of drops. That usually lasts me between 30 and 45 mins before I have to do it again. And I'm a fairly heavy vaper.

Another possible consideration. Are you using the blue foam mod to fill the cart, or a blue foam plug? I find that a blue foam plug works well to keep the atty wet. But, any cart mod will need a bit of time to wick to the atty. After 5 or 6 good puffs, it is often needful to wait for one or two minutes before continuing.

Bozzlite: Doing as you suggested i was able to top it off with about 10 drops. Pushing on the sides of the foam worked a lot! Thanks!

Buzzy: I got the blue foam in a sheet and just cut it to the specifications that Tony at ModernVapor suggested. I had read about the blue foam plug (or saw them for sale somewhere) I figured I would try it out as suggested by Tony first and perhaps try cutting plugs myself later on to compare. I think that your suggestion of waiting a couple minutes might be the trick.

Just a quick update. Being able to truly fill the cart now its lasting a lot longer! and also giving it a minute or two after a few vapes has made each hit much more consistent! Thanks again guys, I finally feel like I am getting a lot of success from my PV

And after the intial 10 puffs you can also hold it cart up towards the ceiling, battery facing down to help with the moving the e-liquid in the right direction. Towards the atomizer.
Don't do this right after filling, as it is only needed as the liquid level is less than full!

JTMan, it makes me happy that you're enjoying your vaping experience! Filling carts takes a little practice and a bit of finese. Sounds like you picked up very quickly and I'm glad it's working out for you.
