You do know that you'll have to send me one for a user fee? :toast:
CE2s are very good or very bad,,, they only go 2 ways. If I get one that has even a hint of bad taste on it's 1st dry burn, I just toss it. I have kept some (out of desperation) and they got better after 2 or 3 days, But all CE2s taste better after 2 or 3 days.

Man, I second that... every CE2 I've tried out of my 5 pack tasted bad.

I'm back to regular 510 attys and dripping now... and I hate that too. All I can hope for is a mini Hybrid to come up for sale again (yeah right), or the co-op to work out. Some day...... some day I'll be able to enjoy vaping.........

I've tried making my own. Off the shelf just doesn't work. Can't find anything useful in Rona or Home Depot. That's all there is in my town! No good for DIY.... might have to take a trip into Toronto soon.

Nice 'michael', thanks for posting, I bookmarked it and will read later.

@ 'uriddle': Co-op planning is still in motion, nothing to report yet.

@ 'raidy': I had my running, albeit for a short time. Waiting on my new tanks to arrive. I'd have to copy what 'oosturmoo' said from what I saw. Much thanks to you for showing us the way!

A question to all genisis atty owners and builders

The most importend difference between a normal atty and a genisis is ..........................?
The disadvantage of a genisis is.............................................................................?

Thanks for building so much new genisis mods and enjoy it.
Raidy

1) The taste and the consistency of every vape

2) Probably the difficulty/complexity that hinders others from getting started with this or building one.

Sturm, maybe it doesn't fire as a connection isn't stable and something moves slightly? You mentioned difficulty with soldering something I think.

1) Completely User serviceable. I guess that's a manufacturing point, but there are no commercial "permanent" attys where a user can reasonably replace parts (coil, wick/mesh).
2) User adjustable/configurable. Performance can be adjusted to preference and/or to match juice. mesh/wick variables, coil variables. See 1) above.
3) Performance. This is the only solution I have found providing more than enough vapor/throat hit. Commercial solutions were less than optimal for me. Best I could do was 6v vaping which led to other issues -- burning materials, burnt out coils, tripped pcb circuits, etc.
4) Capacity. The capillary action of the mesh is enough to support a large tank (considering the practical limit on diameter is around 20 mm it's no problem to wick juice up a 40 mm mesh).
5) Serviceable parts are inexpensive and readily available.

Hi
while all talking about Genisis Attys i thought i have to build one on my own
and here is the result
its 100% mechanical
no wires, no solder
5ml tank
18650 batteries
and all stainless steel, its really massiv and heavy
but its build for life

Looks great!

How many machinists are on this forum anyway?! Man, I wish I could make my own stuff like you guys do. I have lots of ideas in my head, but no means to create any of it. *sniff*

lol.... cheers guys, keep up the great work. It's truly inspiring!
