Wheres dan im looking for more progress pics! lol

LOL I am here, was working on Lathe #2 today getting it operational. No projects worked on today. Actually, I think I am gonna end my DSU endevor. I have found that it requires to much fiddling with, dont get me worng they work fine but I dislike the juice pooling on the bottom. And no matter what avenue I take the result will be the same on a gravity fed system. While I have minimized the seepage greatly I still do not any uice where is should ne be. :) Ok call me OCD but I have actually been using SCUBAGENv3 more than the 2 DSU versions for the simple fact it is easy to load, use and maintain. So I will start refining the SCUBAGENv3 model and try a couple slimmer versions to include ego versions.
... more to follow...
Dan

Try doing some stainless on that thing as i think it will flex too much to be useful for anything other than aluminum and softer.

could be wrong without ever having used one, but that is just what my gut tells me. I would say an old engine lathe would be a better buy. mass and rigidity are very important when it comes to machine tools.
