I was thinking holes in the alu for more wicks :)

Nah, it doesn't need it. I just realized you have air coming up the center tube too, I was somewhat surprised you hadn't sealed that off all the way. I'm doing an ego friendly version already, as nothing I use looks safe enough to carry on a plane, except the ego, and it deserves genisis performance too. Stock looking but satisfying. :) Trouble is it gets only about 8hrs of performance, so I need to do a 2nd...

Persis, my bad, I saw those pics on another site and I'm glad it is you, not someone else. Spanish language site, but from lots of countries-- that is about all I can read there. Might I be able to request one porfavor? :D

Jajajaja... OK friend, I will take you on mind, I promise... but... you know... a lot of people are requesting to me the same... and at this moment I cant produce cuantities of nothing, only 4 or 5 of all kinds of my mods.... but, may be in a near future I could produce all my mods to sell them, but is a dream, not with a comercial vision, of course, If I could earn some money to compensate my time, better, but is not my primary intencion, sicerelly, just I love modding. The G atty is on a differnet situation about production and sell, but I've been in contact with Raidy by email, explaining my intentions and my view and everything is OK, he rocks. Also I have created another mods with the same quality, wich I still have not shown yet, maybe I do it soon, But ... all about this at this moment only is a nice dream.

Persis.

Hey 'persis', I didn't want to PM you for that reason, many are asking. If there's ever room for me in a co-op of your solder-less Genisis, that's the one I'm interested in.

Do let me know, and if nothing else, hopefully our US co-op can adopt your design, that's what I've been pushing for at least ;)

Why seal it off? then I would have to drill a hole in the side of the poly tubing. This way I have a central airflow comming around the coil. If the SS is close enough tolerance to the hole there should be minimal leakage to the air chamber in horizantal positions.

Dan, it was late and I thought there was a hole in the lexan.... as for the wick sealing in the hole that really works great, surface tension FTW!

Persis, the 200+ pieces, that is the tank or the genisis? Again it was late. I would be honored to be considered for either :)

Obeer, it's set to ~2.1 Ω and heavily trained on a mosfet-free device before being put on an ego, I've killed 2 batts before 'setting things up' so I should know better, but oh well.

A regular carto gutted and fit with needles, 3.5mm thick intermediate piece slightly tapered so it press fits into the tank, 3 2mm holes for wick and wires and another carto section for the mouthpiece, holds 1.5ml:

Critiques welcomed!
I made this for use on a ProVari so I am not really concerned with the support cone for an Ego, sure I could have made one but I do not use an Ego, but any other suggestions etc are welcomed :)

Haha Dan, sorry but I can`t help but laugh that, the only two pictures that show a cut on your finger, are also the only two that show the possible suspect "craft knife" in the background !!!!
Anyway, lookin good my friend, I may have a go at this one myself ! (the atty that is, not cutting my finger!)

Ha HA ... yeah that dang xacto actually was not the culprit. It was the 3/4" mill head I glanced off of. Moving to fast and wasnt watching, lucky it was off and static.

Hey Dan, what are you using for the wire connections? I see the little spade looking things, but what are they?

Those are the CAT5e punch down connector i.e.:

Dan I am liking the layout of your Alum? piece. What bit are you using to fashion the O-ring grooves? selfmade?

BTW, nasty cut.

Yep, Aluminum and self made groove tool. Took standard bar stock and a grinder and made the o-ring groove tool 1/16" x 3/16"

Standard as in mild steel? Not even HSS?

I started my mod today and made a video of the finish cut on the lathe specifically to make gummy jealous but the stupid YouTube app on my phone wants a wifi connection and I'm to lazy to switch IP addys. I'll upload it for him tomorrow. :D

Anyway, got the battery tubes (making one for a friend also) done minus the switch holes. Once I get more done I'll start a new thread with pix.
