The most universal link for me to buy a stainless mesh for our purposes is this:
eBay My World - mesh-company
As a matter of fact, when I ordered the 400 mesh from their shop, they sent me approx 4x quantity of the mesh. All my friends now use it :)
P.S. Seems to me that the guys finish their buiseness... Too few items - only 400 mesh...

@ Dan,
Does she take a standard drip tip.

Yes she uses a standard drip tip.

I'd definitely like to see some of these out in the wild, very nice work!!

I would too!

Sorry I crashed on everyone last night, I used her for about two hours. Unfortunantly I had a root cannal down eairlier in the day and had a massive headache so I laid down and did not wake up until this morning!

Ok so here is the review...

She performed very well, it does leak fluid into the main combustion area when you fill the tank until the tank is sealed. Then it does not leak at all.

Two things I do not like is filling the tank (have to be quick) and cannot see how much juice is left. So this got me to thinking, if I took a bottle nipple, and machined that into the top I could just fill the bottle and push it into place so no leaking into the main combustion chamber during refills and I could see how much juice I have. So back to the lathe ... Oh Darn... hehehehehe

I do notice that when vaping I get splittle and pops of hot juice spray from the coil, as they are splattering on my nice clear poly tubing, so I am still getting residual juice on the bottm of the conbustion area, but it is minimal as compared to the other version.

Oh and I WILL BE AT VAPESTOCK!!!! I have a SCUBAGENv3 that is being donated for the raffle. If I can get any more made I will donate them too.

Cool Dan, I hope you will wear more than JUST your hat tho.
I look forward to meeting you there.
I will bring a spare drip tip with hopes that you will let me taste test it.

Bring the extra tip and you can vape til you puke :)

Dan, how about a little change to the nylon tube so that it is a T-shaped piece with juice feed in the side but lets the wick run straight down to the bottom of the chamber to re-absorb the spittle?

Or just a hole in the nylon tube to let the wick do the same thing?

Good Idea, I have though about a housing for the coil and wick to set it, but then changing the coil would be a pain. The problem with a hole in the bottom of the tube is, it would allow the juice from the well or pool in the tube under the wick to leak out.

Thanks for brainstorming with me, keep em comming. :)

YAY, I think I made a break through on the seepage problem on the 1st vertical DSU, I chopped the wick and inserted a 1/8" OD x 1/16" ID tube into the bottle nipple and created a cone effect on the top of the wick, and inserted a 1" long piece of paper clip. This slows down the juice supply to the wick and allows small amount of air in when needed. It is not flooding anymore and wick great. Here are couple pics:
