Persis, that was a great video and your first method looks quite close to how I do mine. I only wish there were YouTube translate as I wish I knew all of what you are saying. I got new batteries and juice in the mail today, so my tears are gone, what do I need to do to get a lovely lighthouse? :)

What I'm saying ?
Only crazy modder words without importance.
What you see is what matters.

Hey I caught perfecto, kanthal, some numbers and genisis, with the rest I'm lacking LOL. So will the lighthouse be somehow available?

Do not know, I have to evaluate the matter, probably in the future can produce a certain amount and sell the battery mod (completely ready to use) and the atty (as a DIY kit or something). But it is very premature, I have to analyze it. I have not maked this mod with that intention, but perhaps in a near future could offer it.

About the lock, I built one with the lock too, and is much more complex, later I will put a picture, but the lock in my opinion is not necessary, the button dont activates easily, even stunded up with his whole weight itself the button dont activated, nor in a pocket for example. The tension of the mechanism is in balance to maintain the smooth push and a safe button system.

As promised, here I leave a quick simple review of The Lighthouse and also shows the version with lock button that had commented earlier in response to the Asdaq's question:

Very Nice Persis!!
I have a whole bunch of those 14500 batts from my NicoStick days.
Now I want one of those magnificent battery mods of yours!
Really slick work!!

Hmmm, today I tried a spontaneous idea: to reduce the mesh wick thickness under the heater. Made a small cutout in the mesh exactly where the heater located, then rolled the mesh with this cutout inside.
Seems that I got more taste. Keeping test...

ooSTURMoo, if you asked me. I have not a photo because it's impossible to make a picture of this. You just make the cutout then make usual wick, it looks like all other wicks made from SS mesh. Result - the wall of your mesh wick is thinner under the heater. And nobody can see this because it's inside the wick.
In other words the whole piece of mesh for this wick has width 15 mm, but in the heater zone it has width, say, 11 mm, so, when you roll the wick, its wall is thinner in the heater zone.

P.S. to complete the idea: now we can increase the mesh width everywhere but under the heater to improve the liquid supply.
