So I bought a big bottle of triacetin before I got any info on it:facepalm:. This stuff will not mix with straight glycerin. I added some water and it seems to mix a little better.

I just want to know if it's worth it. So far it seems I can only use a tiny amount (it's soluble to 70g/l in water and only miscible in alcohol) and what little I've used hasn't changed the flavor at all. Linda from TPA doesn't know how people use it because she sells to bigger customers who won't tell their secrets.

Also, this stuff destroys the plastic tubes on clearomizers, 2 mins after I vaped some in one, the plastic cracked and fell apart.

One more thing, Linda stocked the triacetin because of the companies that wanted PG-free juices. So this means there are companies putting this in their juices to keep them PG-free, and maybe that could contribute to some of the changes in flavor of certain brands. I'm not saying they're in the wrong, but I have never heard of triacetin except on TPA. Maybe if I paid more attention I might see it, but I haven't seen it in anybody's ingredient lists.

I was hoping to get more flavor with less flavoring liquid, since I'm using nearly 30% of the tobacco absolute blend from TPA, and it's starting to taste funky. All it's done so far is stay at the top of the mix, like an oil. It would have been nice to use a carto, too. PG allergies suck

I'm not an expert on Tobacco absolute but 30% seems Very high. How long do you let your juice sit after you mix it before you use it?

Here is a thread about cracking cartomizers.

I know that GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more is getting, or has, new clearomizers that don't seem to be cracking. Not sure if they would work for you and your juice or not.

It seems my tobacco juice gets less potent the day after, then as the alcohol evaporates, it gets a tiny bit stronger.

The triacetin doesn't seem to affect the ce2s with the syringe mod, since it's a different plastic. I'm more concerned about having a PG-free juice that wicks better. All the wicks seem to do on my cartos is pull juice from the coils when I'm dripping, so I cut 'em.
