Hello, my name is Ilya Osintsev and i have been vaping for about 3 months. I have 3 questions for that maybe you can answer.
I currently own a Kanger Subox Mini Starter Kit and I am thinking about buying High Voltage Sub-Ohm tank and my question is - would this tank work on my device? because i would love to be able to vape on high voltage.

also I bought Velvet cloud vapor juices and they are 100%vg, every time i smoke them I get dry hits and pretty much no taste. is that because of my device or eliquid? Also tried to steep them and it didnt help.

And the last question, when I bought Kanger Subox Mini kit, the tank came with the 0.5ohm coil that goes up to 60W. It was an awesome coil. I looked up online for it but couldn't find it. All the ones they sell online 0.5ohm go only to 30W. Can you help me finding it?

I know that maybe these question are not relevant for you but I would greatly appreciate your help.

Thank you for yuor attention,
Cheers

Hello and welcome t the forum.

Not sure which site you are trying to purchase things from, but ECF is only a forum. There are vendors here that sell things, just not directly from this site.

Fasttech is a great place to get cheap E-cigarette supplies. They carry pretty much everything and offer free international shipping.

My guess on the reason for the dry hits would be the 100% VG juice you are using in the Subtank. I would recommend getting 50/50 juice for that. It will work better.

Where are you?

haha it's a Russian last name so don't bother trying.
what is the best way to smoke 100%VG then?

You can dilute 100% VG with up to 10% distilled water or vodka. You will also be diluting the nicotine and the flavors. I would suggest trying a small amount with just a few drops, a little goes a long way.

We try to stay away from the word Smoke in here.
But the Best way to Vape 100 VG is in an RDA or a dripper, Which is where you make your own coils, and drip right on to the coils and wick. Its a little bit of a learning curve...
But the best way to vape what your vaping is to Dilute with something, PG, Someone mentioned water, although Ive never Used water....

This. :thumb:

Most "tanks" will have a tough time with 100% vg (vegetable glycerin), due to it being so thick and the wick not being able to keep up to feed the coil adequately. You might have some luck diluting the e-liquid with a little of distilled water or plain pg (propylene glycol) from a DIY (do-it-yourself) website.

Your best option if you are going to use a tank is to use a 50/50 or 40/60 Pg/Vg ratio in your eliquids. You can use any Pg/Vg ratio in a rebuildable dripper (RDA), but you'll need to learn to make your own coils and wicks.

Kangertech suggested operating range for their OCC coils.

Horizontal OCC Coils
0.5 Ω coils - 15 watts to 30 watts.
1.2 Ω coils - 12 watts to 25 watts.

Vertical OCC Coils
0.2Ω coils - ? watts to 80 watts
0.5Ω coils - 15 watts to 60 watts
1.2Ω coils - 10 watts to 26 watts
1.5Ω coils - 10 watts to 26 watts

Fasttech sells them. Here is the 0.5Ω vertical coil: $9.62 Authentic KangerTech SUBTANK Vertical OCC Coil Heads (5-Pack) - 0.5ohm (15-60W) at FastTech
