So I need some specific help. I have an original Provari and an istick 20 watt. I am waiting to recieve a Squape clone RTA. Can someone give me advice on building a micro coil that will work with my two regulated mods? An estimate on wire gauge and number of wraps to get me in the ballpark of ohms needed?

I quit the death-sticks long ago and have used extreme discipline to keep from buying all sorts of new vaping toys through the years. But I am sick and tired of dealing with the cost and the fuss of my protanks. It is time for me to switch to rebuildables, or at least bring them into my repertoire. This has been as frustrating as when I first started researching e-cigs and vaping long ago. I just want to run a noob RTA on these mods to make the switch to rebuildables, then from that safe and sustainable place I can start experimenting and gaining experience with RTAs and RDAs.

But I've got to get these simple questions answered by someone who does this stuff everyday. I don't have the patience to be frustrated or funds make a lot of mistakes. The budget is tight and rebuildables are a new world to me that I should have began making baby steps into a long time ago!

Thank you in advance.

So I think 1.3 ohms is minimally optimal for the Provari 1. So 1.5 to 2 ohms or so. I am guessing a thinner gauge to keep from overtaxing it with a slow burn?

My theory is 32 gauge and 4/5 wraps?

Coil wrapping

30 gauge kanthal
8/9 wraps on 2mm diameter
2 ohm
10 watts
