There's 6 in the litter so get yourself one before they're gone! BTW, they're the same mix as my big boy (mastiff/lab) and that means my guy doesn't drool! Lab's have dry mouths, thus why they're great bird dogs, and mastiffs tend to drool. The combination (at least in my guys case) means he doesn't drool, so no slingers on the ceiling!

Yep, my wife has said that we're NOT allowed to get any more dogs! 8-o

Got both my dogs from Petfinder! There's 6 in the litter and while none look like traditional mastiffs, they're all cute! Hell, Delilah looks like she'll grow into a real cutie and just look at the nose on Sampson!

When I first read the title of this thread, I thought "dogs" was slang for cookies.:p

Now I see that "dogs" is slang for cute as hell!:)

But would your wife allow you to adopt "cookies"?:)

What she doesn't know.... :D

Nice pups Mike!

I agree but they're not mine! Though I want 3 or 4 of 'em!

Very cute puppies...but I so dont need a mastiff think the old man would kill me if I got another dog. let alone a horse of one ;p

You might try your local Craigs list

See above and if your old man doesn't like your new puppy, maybe it's time for a young man! :D

I just fell in love. I'd take him in a second if I didn't have 3 dogs already. Good luck. I'm sure they'll find a home in no time. Pics of the ..... and stud?

Mike,
My son who is in NC may be interested in adopting, not sure. He wants a mastiff. We have a rescued Bully and he is awesome. So couple days ago he was in petsmart with his wife and somebody offered him a brindle bully pup, but it was sick and found wondering. He took it directly to the vet. It was sick alright... Parvo had it real bad. Unfortunately, they had to have the lil guy put to sleep because it was bad apparently and I guess to late. I don't have the details...

So... if it is even feasible to adopt a male down in NC, please PM me.

Edit: I looked at the website. Will turn my son on to this and the website links also.

Cool Jolly!

These pups are NOT mine. I just ran across them and thought, "man, if I was getting another dog I'd get one of these!".

BTW, for anyone interested in a dog, any dog, don't let distance deter you from the right dog! I got my dog through an org. out of Michigan, he was being fostered in Indiana, I picked him up in Illinois, and I live in Minnesota! Moral of the story, find the right dog then make it happen! (and for those concerned about distance costs, other than the standard adoption fee my only costs to get him was my gas to drive to Chicago - and if I'd been willing to wait 2 weeks they woulda brought him to my home! But hey, I wanted him NOW and was willing to drive 6 hours to pick him up asap!)

Are you making an offer Mr. Mastiff? :hubba:

Of course! If you've got "cookies" I'm your man!

I want one! Too bad they aren't here in AZ :(

And I have a tiny car, traveling wouldn't work

If you find a dog you're interested in (no matter how far away) it doesn't hurt to contact them! Most rescue org's just want to place dogs in good loving homes, regardless of distance. GLMR (where I got mine) has a network of volunteers that will "relay" a dog across the country if need be. I just didn't want to wait for them to work out the logistics of getting him to me so I talked to the foster mom and we agreed to meet at the halfway point.

Since I'm in story telling mode:
When I ran across the listing for Brodie I immediately inquired about him only to be told he was already "taken" (he was only 6 weeks old and they wouldn't adopt him out until he was 10 weeks, but someone had already claimed him). I was crushed, but 2 weeks later the rescue org called me to say that the original adopters had backed out due to a divorce and I could have him if I still wanted! This rest is glorious history!
