One reason not to put them on a mod (as opposed to something disposable) is because the auto mechanism is fault prone. If it breaks on something disposable, no big deal. If it breaks on your mod, BIG DEAL! Better to have a mod that's almost bulletproof and will last for many years without any problems.

ya know...that makes perfect sense....but....why can't they make them like a rocket....in stages? :)

I've got a couple of mods passthroughs etc and just picked up 2 auto KR808d-1 batts and a few 901 atties for automatic vaping (which i enjoy alot) and the batteries are lasting me for about 3 hours of chain vaping, maybe worth a shot? cheap too.

wow...that IS chain vaping....what are you using??? Must be the short batteires...the 280's ? What I've got the hubby set up with now is the KR8 XL autos with the 10 second draw....a KR8/510 adapter, and 510 cartos, and he is using them like a Baby Hughie pacifier! I mean it....he wears them around his neck...drives a truck....an always has the thing hanging out of his mouth!!! They last him 4-6 hrs easy...the XL's that is. I just bought him 5 new ones at Vapors Etc for 11.95 each! And he still complains!!! honestly....I think it's just because so many of these manual mods are so darn beautiful! He loves the AquaVapor ...ah....name...name...it's like a flashlight...chunky and has rubber black grips....and of course the Chuck....but his absolute to die for if it was only an auto.....the VP2 from vaprlife. I havn't even told him the Joker is actually in prodution :)

Me...???? I just love my little Smoke Stiks....I figure if they won't do me....I'm vaping way too much or way too hard. If it gets hot...it's time to put it down. Took me about 6 months to figure that one out. :p

Yeah just using the 280's

I researched this like CRAZY and the KR8 batts are the best by far! remember the ego auto's (or manuals for that matter) are only 3.2 volt or so where the KR8 is a full 3.7 volt battery! that's a deal breaker for me from the start.

I can see where he's coming from with some of those amazing looking mods though... but unless you go to a 5 or 6 volt device you wont get any more vapor out of them than the KR8 - and if you get a big battery manual mod then it's pretty hard to hang out of your mouth whilst driving a truck!

Good luck with it! seems like your hubby is a tough customer! :D
