Your coil legs are really long, homie. I get really good results making them rather short, so that the coil just hovers above the juice hole on the deck. Also, your wick tails look a bit long. The best results I have had come from having really short tails on a medium tight cotton wick. If the wick is in there too tight, it won't wick properly. Whenever I have a flavor problem, that is usually the issue. Replace the wick and trim the tails tighter to the coil. Then, as long as you have your coil at the right height - that is, it isn't choking the excess juice from going back into the bottle, you should be good to go.
