Something is wrong with my BP, it is tripping the protection no matter what atty or carto I put on it (all checked before trying and meter around 3 ohm). When I check my voltage on my Buzz w/ my little meter it is measuring as it should from 3.4 - 5.6. I changed batteries and gave it another shot (batteries checked on meter before inserting), I got about 4 puffs and it tripped the protection, I pulled the batteries and rechecked them on my meter, one had drained the other was still full. I put a new set of batteries in, and again the protection tripped. I haven't emailed Mike yet, was hoping me may see this, or someone may know what is wrong. Is this something an alcohol bath will help? or is something really wrong here.

Hmm ok I checked my chargers, my little ultrafire one that I got when I ordered my BP measures in at 5v not 4.2v this bad?
I also checked my other charger that I can charge different size batteries in, it has 4 slots, 2 of them are reading too low, so this may be the culprit. So just so I understand this, even though the batteries I had in there were metered at 4.2 v prior to putting them in my BP, they may not have been charged right?
<sigh> Why oh why did I take home ec. in school and not something like shop, where I may have learned something about ohms and volts and .....
I did put another pair of batts. in and seems ok now... I suppose I may have charged the other 2 sets in the bad charger.
Thanks for the fast reply Mike! Hopefully this is what the problem was.
