Something I've never understood about Reo mechanicals (or any mechanicals)...

Why does e-liquid burn and/or the coil pops on a VV mod when you turn the voltage too high with a coil head like[FONT=arial, sans-serif] kanger or vision, but not on a Reo mechanical with a low resistance or sub ohm coil? Thicker wire? I realize my reo grand/reomizer is just superior, but I must now why this is so! [/FONT]

Yes larger gauge, thinner wire cannot take as much heat as thicker wire, it also heats up faster. When I torch wire with my small butane torch I have to be very careful with 30 gauge and don't even try with 32 ga as they just melt. I have no problem torching 28 ga and lower.

You wouldn't believe how thin the wire is in the kanger or vision coils. That's also why they last so much longer when you rebuild them with a thicker gauge wire.
