Heck if I know. Different manufacturers is all, I think. I've never heard anything even slightly bad about either one.

Google e cig mod database and check out that site. You can search on every conceivable configuration (18650, 14500 battery, vv, 510, etc) - I was in the same position as you and got an Omega. This pv has lasted me for 14 months now and I'm currently looking to get another mod and use my Omega as a backup. If I posted a picture of it you wouldn't believe the beating its taken and it still works great! Only reason I'm looking to get another mod is for rewarding myself for being analog free for almost a year.
