Something similar to an Ithaka that doesn't require nr-r-nr wire?

Out of every rebuildable (and non-rebuildable) I've tried, nothing comes close to an Ithaka for flavor when built right. My problem with the Ithaka is, I think, the nr-r-nr wires it uses. Most of the ready wire you buy is extremely thin and I think that ends up making it difficult for me to put the thing together without choking the wick and making it taste like crap. Mine also floods easily. Still, the flavor is amazing when everything goes right. is there something similar to an Ithaka that doesn't need nr-r-nr wires? Failing that, where can I get the best ready wire for it?

For any coil, doesn't matter what tank you use, if you could make your own nr-r-nr coils, it would be better, so that only the coil gets hot and not the leads as much;

What's wrong with using regular wire on the ithaka?

You can't use regular wire. The wire runs below the deck so resistance would be insanely high due to the length and the insulators would probably melt anyway. The ready wires I've found are too thin so I don't like those either.

Since I don't do dual coils, nor have I used a Taifun, I can't comment on either ... actually, the original Ithaka was designed with dual coils in mind, so it may be better in that regard. I use the new rebuildable section for cotton microcoils and the vape experience is similar to CMCs on my Kayfun Lite + and my Russian 91%, but I have much more precise control over both air flow and juice control with the Ithaka.
