Maybe you should join the dark side of dripping!
1-2 drops on the atty lasts about the same length as a cigarette, and is definitely very juice efficient.

But I do have to agree, the 510 does heat up ALOT. The vapor's heat hits your throat worse than most cigarettes, which has so far turned a few people I know away from the switch initially (I still get people asking if that goes away after a while, which although it doesn't, you learn how to inhale to avoid it). I wouldn't mind a PV with a little less heat.

Generally speaking, if a 510 is running really hot, then something is wrong with it. Usually flooded or starved.

That being said, you can try one of the SLB 510 atomizers (Rob at Vaporkings has them) which will run cooler due to their higher resistance.

Of.. you can go to a PV that runs at a higher resistance (and hence cooler), like the 901.

Yeah I have the 901 and the 510 currently. The 510 got me dizzy last night not sure why, and i felt a little anxious. I know people will say its the nicotine, But its 18mg nicotine and i only hit it a few times. I smoke like 30 regular cigs a day. Probably my subconscious, I am always a little leery about inhaling the mystery liquid from china.

Anyone like the vaporking or the m701 i think its called.. i think its also called the revolver.

can someone explain more about the cart mods, I have no idea what the makeup pad is or the blue sponge.

Look in the tips and tricks section for the blue foam mod. I just got back from the pet store and loaded my cart with juice, put the piece of blue foam in (like a plug) and so far so good.

About the China liquid thing - they actually have some very strict laws governing their products and instead of fines their penalties are either life in jail or death when their products hurt people. ...but I certainly do understand some folks being wary of products from outside the U.S.

The Totally Wicked boxed repackaging of e-liquid(*) has the advantage of displaying all the ingredients.

* it's exactly the same flavor list (plus lorann and decadent vapors) as Dekang so i assume it is it.

18mg/ml:

1. Tobacco essential oil <5%
2. Tobacco leaf oil <5%
3. Nicotine (from tobacco leaf) <3%
4. 2,3,5-Trimethylpyrazine <1%
5. 2,3,5,6-Tetramethylpyrazine <1%
6. 2,5-Dimethylpyrazine <1%
7. 2-Acetypyrazine <1%
8. 2-Methyl butyic acid <1%
9. Terpineol <1%
10. Ethyl maltol <1%
11. Guaiacol <2%
12. Acetyl pyridine <2%
13. Octalactone(gamma) <1%
14. Pure water <10%
15. Propylene Glycol >65%
16. Glycerol <20%

edit:

All that ???-pyrazine stuff is aroma apparently: Pyrazine - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia and used in traditional Chinese medicine... kind of make sense that they got the idea to use it actually :)

other ingredients are actually things like a dry alcoholic molecule and other stuff.. all seems pretty safe despite the weird names !

----

a little bit of googling:

so 1, 2, 3, 14, 15, 16 are all well known from us by now

4, 5, 6, 7 are flavors with possibly medical properties
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pyrazine

8 is a strong aroma (flavor highly variable depending on suppliers, see below)
http://www.thegoodscentscompany.com/data/rw1056421.html

9 is a "naturally occurring monoterpene alcohol that has been isolated from a variety of sources such as cajuput oil, pine oil, and petitgrain oil"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terpineol

10 A chemical that "has a sweet odor that can be described as caramalized sugar and cooked fruit. It is an important flavourant for the food, beverage, and fragrance industry"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethyl_maltol

11 Is a "colourless aromatic oil is derived from guaiacum or wood creosote. Samples darken upon exposure to air and light. Guaiacol is present in wood smoke, resulting from the pyrolysis of lignin. Roasted coffee also contains the compound, which contributes to the flavor of the coffee."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guaiacol

12 Is "used in the creation and/or manufacturing of fragrance and flavor concentrates of all types." main odor type: popcorn
http://www.thegoodscentscompany.com/data/rw1012221.html

13 Is "used in the creation and/or manufacturing of fragrance and flavor concentrates of all types." Main odor type: coconut

Some of them are classified as irritating but all have an extremely safe toxic profile.
