Sony VTC4 and Purple Efest

From my perspective, it would be pretty silly of a company to advertise 35A capability if they were not truly capable of a sustained 35A. Another thing I've noticed is that Efest is also releasing a 2100mah 30A 18650, but on that battery it also says (60A for 75 seconds), printed right on the battery. You would think if the 2500mah 35A were actually 20A as a lot of people are saying they would say 20A and then (35A for 75 seconds), but they simply say 35A right on the battery. I own two of the purple Efest 2500mah 35A batteries and I've been doing a lot of builds in the .24-.38 range with 26ga kanthal and they haven't even got so much as warm, even on sustained long 7-8 second lung inhales. Great battery life and a ton of buffer zone, no complaints from me.

I've got a couple of the purple eFest myself and they are great. Like Froth said, tons of life and hit like a champ. Put my 2250 Panasonics to shame.

yeah the purples are a 20 amp continuous battery, 35 amp pulse. that would be like sony advertising the vtc4 as a 60 amp battery.
But that's efest for ya.
