I think the reasoning behind something like this is sound and devices like this are very important.
A smoker and like most of us here, will start with something like this. If for nothing else out of familiarity. majority of people that try to quit relaps cause devices like this that they started with were nowhere near good enough. A lot of those e-cig first timers will never come to a place like here and learn that there are better alternatives out there, even less (like myself) will seek out a forum before making a purchase.
I for one hope that the tech in this category of e-cigs grow, and I can already see its natural progression. Lets see what is wrong about this device, in truth, just two things. Small battery and small tank. Vapor production is adequate.
At the rate tech is going, in a few years we will have 150mah batteries that will have half the footprint of the 90mah battery in the eroll. That will mean that the tank can get bigger (say 1.5-2ml) while still retaining that familiar form factor and size. Then of course there is the PCC, which besides being a practical way to carry your e-cig around, will in a few years be able to give you a 2000mah battery backup.
In application, if such a PCC holds two e-cig batteries, and each battery has 150mah which is good for say 1hr of chain vaping, then it simply means that the second battery will be charging while you are vaping and vice versa. It makes practical sense to me. I for one know that regardless of what I am vaping with now, I would definitely get something like this if nothing else cause its easier to carry around.
But this is what i don't get, if its possible to have a starter kit that is super portable, extremely easy to use and near impossible to break. That has a set up that will allow you vape throughout the day with the only caveat being that you will have to take a few pre-filled tanks (pending on how much you vape) how is this in anyway going backwards or a bad thing?
I love my eGo and I love the mods and bigger stuff I have seen on this forum but I also see the importance and necessity of devices like the eRoll and feel such devices will ultimately play a much bigger role in the vaping conundrum
And how could you conveniently only talk about the 90mah battery but ignore that it comes with a 1000mah PCC????? Like isn't that supposed to be the whole point of a device like this. if anything I would have taken you seriously if you complained about the PCC having a slot for only one battery.
