this thing is pretty legit! two battery s and the case is all you need for a full day, oh and some juice with you. i am a provari mini user, and now this is what i use during the day and im pretty happy with it! it performs well and is super small and light.

Yeah I have to agree, it's a nice little device. I'm still using my eGo-C at home primarily, but the eRoll is great for short trips and quick vapes when out and about.

I was using my mini ego and mini nova for on the go type stuff, but replaced them with my eroll. Tanks are small, but cheap and easy to change. Changing juices is much more simple now that I can just pop in a new tank. The pcc is smaller than my Galaxy S2 and keeps the 90mah battery charged all day no problem. Not having to screw the battery into the pcc is really great. It is tiny and can be dangled from the mouth, best when you use teeth. I still prefer my spinner and nova for home use though.

I think the reasoning behind something like this is sound and devices like this are very important.

A smoker and like most of us here, will start with something like this. If for nothing else out of familiarity. majority of people that try to quit relaps cause devices like this that they started with were nowhere near good enough. A lot of those e-cig first timers will never come to a place like here and learn that there are better alternatives out there, even less (like myself) will seek out a forum before making a purchase.

I for one hope that the tech in this category of e-cigs grow, and I can already see its natural progression. Lets see what is wrong about this device, in truth, just two things. Small battery and small tank. Vapor production is adequate.

At the rate tech is going, in a few years we will have 150mah batteries that will have half the footprint of the 90mah battery in the eroll. That will mean that the tank can get bigger (say 1.5-2ml) while still retaining that familiar form factor and size. Then of course there is the PCC, which besides being a practical way to carry your e-cig around, will in a few years be able to give you a 2000mah battery backup.

In application, if such a PCC holds two e-cig batteries, and each battery has 150mah which is good for say 1hr of chain vaping, then it simply means that the second battery will be charging while you are vaping and vice versa. It makes practical sense to me. I for one know that regardless of what I am vaping with now, I would definitely get something like this if nothing else cause its easier to carry around.

But this is what i don't get, if its possible to have a starter kit that is super portable, extremely easy to use and near impossible to break. That has a set up that will allow you vape throughout the day with the only caveat being that you will have to take a few pre-filled tanks (pending on how much you vape) how is this in anyway going backwards or a bad thing?

I love my eGo and I love the mods and bigger stuff I have seen on this forum but I also see the importance and necessity of devices like the eRoll and feel such devices will ultimately play a much bigger role in the vaping conundrum

And how could you conveniently only talk about the 90mah battery but ignore that it comes with a 1000mah PCC????? Like isn't that supposed to be the whole point of a device like this. if anything I would have taken you seriously if you complained about the PCC having a slot for only one battery.

I was quite surprised by the positive reviews of the eRoll. Even experienced reviewers tend to rave about this device, although most of them have told us many times that bigger is better. Considering going backwards: the 510 had a pcc, with spare room for an extra battery and some cartridges/cartomizers. Same goes for the 808. The 510 has 180 mAh, the 808 has 280. And now all of a sudden a device with LESS capacity, both battery- and liquid-wise, takes the hearts of the ProVari- and Rebuildable Atomizer-crowd? By the way, I wouldn't mind owning and actually using one... :)

This isn't just for newbies. There are plenty of established vapers who use the eRoll, including me. I've been vaping for eight months and I own twists, a bottom feeder, and a mini Provari among other PVs, but I also use an eRoll. It uses the same atty as an eGo C and it produces good vapor. If you normally use 12 mg liquid, it's nice to put 24 or higher in the eRoll and then use it like a stinky--take it out of the case for 7-10 vapes and then put it back for a half hour or an hour until you need it again. It's can be a lot more like cigarette smoking that way instead of chainvaping. It's very handy when you only have a few minutes for a quick vape break. The batteries and cones both cost less than $10, so like a lot of other eRoll users, I own a couple and just fill the tanks before I head out for the day. The flavor is definitely more muted than a clearo, but still decent. The PCC is stylish and very conducive to discreet vaping since it looks like you are simply carrying your phone around. I've had the PCC go two days without needing a recharge with pretty steady use. The PV can charge in the case while the PCC is charging and it doesn't take long for a PV to fully recharge.

I would say this is a worthwhile new alternative. There are only a couple of things that need work on it, but what PV is perfect? Occasionally, the tanks can leak. A couple of people have had problems with the PV firing while in the PCC. And the PCC would be much more convenient if it could hold two eRolls instead of just one. But even with it's problems, I don't think it should be dismissed as going backward or a toy for uninformed newbies. It's better than that.

Still love my eroll after 2 months. I do pick up the 808 sometimes but its rare. Been vaping 5 months. My only larger devices are an ego mini and kgo that i use stardusts with. Honestly havent touched either in at least a month!

Totally agree with you! I love how this thread turned around..... negative to positive
