I just ordered a Grand lp sl, Kawasaki green/black wrinkle and a rm6. I'm looking forward to it

Got a question though, which aw imr 18650 should I get? I currently use Samsung 25r or vtc4 (on the rarity I hit .4 ohm) but it's my understanding that I'll find button-tops vastly preferable. Soo .. The aw 1600, 2000, or 2200 mAh?

Congrats!! You'll get all kinds of opinions and all will be good choices. I get AW IMR 2200s and have a couple 25rs.

Welcome to the forum d4gger your flat tops will work keep them clean and use deoxit or noalox .
The mods switch was built around a button top imr but many people use flat tops .
I would go with the 1600 myself stay away from the 2000

Congrats and welcome to the Ville'. The 1600's, and the 2200's are great batteries, but like Rob posted above, steer clear of the 2000's

I use 1600 upon Super_x_drifter's and Mr. Rob's recommendation when I first got into Reo's. 24amp rating for 1600 vs 10amp I believe with the 2000

I personally use the AW IMR 2200 batteries, which have a pretty good 20 amp limit, which will let you go down to 0.3 safely. I'm generally in the .4-.5 range and they last me all day (and a little into the next). The 1600 seem like a solid choice as well, like rob said, stay away from the 2000 mah, since if I remember correctly, I think they only have a 10 amp limit.

The 1600 has higher amps(24) and actually holds higher voltage longer in the range above 3.7 volts than the 2000. The 2200 is a newer battery than those, it does 20amps and last longer than 1600 but does not hold high voltage as long.

Translation the 1600 can run lower amps builds and hit harder for the first part of the charge. The 2200 will last longer but won't hit quite as hard.

You're going to love your reo - vaping doesn't get any better, and your Green Hornet colour scheme is really snappy (pics, of course, are de rigueur around here).

As for bats, I run both the AW 1600's and 2200's - both are great.

Nerak had mentioned that the sammy 25r button top compressed the spring far more than she was comfortable with. The flat top ones are 6.00

I run flat top Samsung 25R in my Grands. The Samsung 25R button tops are too long. They will compress the spring and not give it enough room to collapse in case of a short. The Samsung 25R is a good battery.

Think it depends on the coil you run. I keep mine between .8-1.2ohm and use the Panasonic PF or PD. 10 amp and 2900mAh or whatever...

I use the button tops in my Woodvils. They leave a bit more spring and I feel safer. But in the future I will only buy the Samsung 25R flat tops. If I could afford it I would like to try the AW IMR 2200 mAh in the future.

I use my Flat top Samsungs as well! So you should be fine.

I use Sony VTC4, VTC5 and LG HE2 in my Woodvils and AW IMR 1600 and 2200 in my Grands. I use 18490 AW IMR 1100 and now 1200 in my Mini 2.1 and my Woodvil 18490

So flat tops in the Woodvils and button top in the grands
