What is the SCOPE and VISION for your YT channel?

Previously you said you wanted to have the ability and creative freedom to post content beyond a SINGULAR thing (vaping).

If so... then your YT channel name should reflect a WIDER vision.

Personally, I would skip Franky or Franky's... IMO, neither is professional sounding. Don't get upset with me Bro, but those sound kind of childish. But, whatever (it's not my gig ).

How about just Frank’s Reviews? If you put vaping in the title it might just put a target on your back for YouTube to watch you for violating policy.

This sounds like it will be a really fun adventure for you. Just make sure to keep some time for yourself too. Don't wanna make yourself so busy that you're running around like a chicken with its head cut off. Especially since you have to still look after your father.

I can't wait to see what you come up with though! I'm sure you'll have us all laughing and learning at the same time

Edit: i like the 3rd logo! Reminds me of something from either an old Tron game, or something you would see on GTA Vice City. Really cool that your local vape shop owner was also a GFX Designer! Love hearing about how helpful fellow vapers can be!

Second Edit: @hittman is right, youtube is VERY anti-vape and if you use the word vape you WILL get some kind of issues. I am into dry herb vaping because of medical needs, but even though marijuana is legalizing all over, dry herb vaping channels have been getting attacked JUST as hard as the nic vaping channels. They REALLY hate tthe word Vaping. Frank's Reviews may not be as catchy as Frank 'n Vape, but you wont be at risk of having your channel suspended or deleted.

Heck i appreciate the honesty,so we all good.

Thanks for the list of names you put on there,is it just me or does Positively Frank/Frank's Vista have a nice ring to it?
And yes you are correct about the wider vision,removing vape from the name lets me have some wiggle room in the future if i decide to branch out and discuss other subjects in another channel.

For now thou just small steps,small intro video then a review.
From there well i just gotta see how it goes.

I did post some questions using my youtube channel about the do's and don't when it comes to vaping videos,no links to external stores or websites that have anything to do with vaping.

Gotta walk on eggshells when talking in the video,like this for example which was a direct response from a silver product expert when i asked some questions about the rules and regulations regarding vaping products:

''Yes, the guidelines also prohibit vaping websites and vaping stores. You are not allowed to link to them or mention them verbally.''

I can however mention the brand and model of the device but i can't even mention a website while i am talking *shrug*

Unboxing also requires some finesse and some previous alterations,gotta cover or not show anything that could compromise the video.
Take Mike's Vape for example,he got a strike just because a battery door where you could see the website for Vaporesso in a small sticker in the back.
Same for the QR code if there is any in the box,so yeah that i wrote down just to keep in mind when i record the video...

Going to pass along to my buddy from the vape shop so he can get the intro and logo done.
Rest of the stuff i already got up and done multiple test runs so i just gotta find some time to record and post the first video.

Hectic these days so this has been way down in my priority list,first my pops and now this bronchitis i am going thru...gee its always something.

Hit a couple of snags on the way,arm holding the light to my desk gave up so it kinda looks a bit dark.
Voice is not good,part because of the Bronchitis and part because i can't seem to figure out the correct settings for the microphone.

But i was eager to get started and well the first videos are never perfect so i decided to go ahead.



Also uploading to Rumble and Odysee,might as well just in case Youtube decides to take my videos down hehe.

Will try and post a review pretty soon,the Xros 3 and then the Lost Vape M200,will see how it goes.

I think you did a fine job. Nice intro video and your voice came across well. Your friend did an excellent job with the graphics and the backing music track was cool.

Your mic is a Blue Snowball, no?

There are three settings on it.

#1 cardoid pattern will pickup sound from the front of the mic or unidirectional.

#2 cardoid with a -10dB pad. Same as #1 but w/the -10dB pad. The pad lowers the level of the incoming signal to the mic by -10dB before it reaches the rest of the circuitry. If you have a normally loud and boomy voice try this setting.

#3 omni pattern will pick up everything from all directions or omnidirectional. Ambient noise will be picked up.

I would do a test recording with #1 and #2 (#3 if you must ) and select whichever you feel is the best sounding (cardoid 1 or 2 ). You can also load your vocal track into your audio sw and have a good look. And then you could make tweaks such as eq'ing your vocal track if desired.

Only thing I can think of is that, once your light boom is fixed, the extra light might change the camera (effective) f-stop and bring the background into sharper focus, so watch for that

Agree. Just that with more light the camera will stop down and increase the depth of field, rendering it LESS out of focus May still be nicely blurred, just something to look out for.

Yeh i did try all 3 settings,2 and 3 gave me a bit of an echo so i stuck with setting number 1.

Thing is my English speaking skills were so much better back in the day.
I spoke with clients in person and over the phone all the time,basically my day was 90% in English and 10% in Spanish.
These days i only type and watch movies and tv series in English so yeah i am bit rusty at the moment.
About the Blue Snowball that is the mic i got,actually going to edit the ''blue balls'' lame joke out but meh i am who i am and i thought some semi cringe joke would be ok lol

Totally forgot i could have used the light of the smartphone until i get a replacement for my light boom,maybe that will improve it a bit.
Or i got a bass speaker on the left side of the screen,grab a can of beans or can of soda and put it on top of the bass box and then rest the light against it so it throws the light towards me.
Will give it a try later,i am itching to do my first unboxing so i think i will do it later on today.
Gotta do it past midnight thou,builders who did this apartment building put bad i mean really bad door...gotta slam them to properly close them and its really loud so night time is the best time to record without any exterior noise.

Tried the green screen feature with Nvdia Broadcast but it has glitches,not as good as a proper physical green screen.
If you move your hands around a lot like me its kinda blurry and doesn't really look that good,so i just chose the blur on the back for now.

Still AM here and i gotta wait for night time but i will try and get the review for the XROS 3 done today.

As i said before not into this for the ''viral'' thing or just to make money,to be honest i prefer more a hands on approach to the reviews.
Just writing them down felt a bit boring to be honest,this keeps me busy and its fun to do.

Once i am done with the first device review and i have uploaded it i will get in contact with some companies and see what happens,need some more goodies so i can review.
