What kind of glass drill bits are you using? I think (and you would know lol) that Lowes has diamond hole saw bits. Lots of cool water, slow and easy. Those spade ones are garbage for glass. I would just put the glass in a tub of water on top of a piece of styro for cushion. That's how I used to do it, but never holes that big!

Oh the one in the picture is acrylic, sorry for the confusion haha. The glass is coming soon though I'll be sure to send a pm to those interested in this thread (you too), thank you again for all the recommendations :D, I'm quite the handy man but I've never worked with glass before besides using lowe's straight cutter haha. That plumbers putty well has saved me some headache since I've been practicing on my test pieces, I'll be buying some more sheets in a couple of days when I have the time to make this thing, and I'll be sure to put it in a ziploc tub while drilling the holes like you suggested, god knows that'll be easier and I'll have less glass splinters too :p. I have a (surprisingly awesome chinese-made) S&K diamond tip glass/granite bit set, it cuts super quick, almost too quick because I broke a few when it finally cut through :S, so now I'm taking it nice and gently, and I've put the bits in my drill press so I can have more control over it. I think I'll have a really purdy vape station for you guys soon :)
