Just got back from a successful 'session' with a fav bud after his interest in my vaping!

Marty is scheduled for a shoulder replacement in fifteen days and his surgeon told him to quit the cigs for a quicker recovery. He has witnessed my 'conversion' from it's genesis. He never has shown any interest and I wasn't about to scare/push him off with my spiel. His bride did ask for my 'e-cig info pack' for her sister. Noper, no feedback there...

Well, today he asked if I had another e-cig package that he had seen me offer to another acquaintance recently. "Yepper, ya bet"! I had bought several eGo-ish kits for just such an opportunity. The first one went to da 'sand box'.

I had the eGo kit charged and mounted with a DCC filled with my DIY Iffy's Peach. "Ummm, not bad, not bad at all", with a grin. OK, we sat down and I took him through the fundamentals slow n' easy. He said he thinks he can "do this". I then offered him to try my V-mod with some FSUSA Vanilla Bourbon 2X sweetened that is my second go to flav. "Day-um, I really like that!"

Well, he's sitting at home with the eGo and my V-Mod, hopefully vaping his way down that enlightened path to 'bakky freedom . I plan to wean the nic level down and have him at least semi-prepared for the main event in two weeks!

Did I mention that I'm pumped?!?! fist-maniac.gif

Well, good news thus far. Marty had only half a cig yesterday morning. The remainder of yesterday and today, just vaping! He started at 18mg and today he vaped 9mg. Mixing up some 5mg for him for tomorrow.

I think he's kinda surprised that he's doing so well with the vaping. He luvs the Vanilla Bourbon and switches off to Iffy's Peach for a change of pace. With his shoulder replacement just two weeks off, I'd luv to get him down to zero nic within a week. I know that's pretty optimistic, but ya never know...

Just mixed 30ml of zero nic for Marty. His short ride has been 18 to 9 to 6 to 3mg in a week! Can hardly believe how well he's doin'... zip cigs since his first full day vaping. His surgery is on the 15th.

As a result of Marty's early success, a young acquaintance is now vaping and lovin' it. I started Bobby with 18mg and he had some mild headaches. I cut the nic down to 9mg and he's now requesting 30ml of the same joose.

This is as rewarding, if not a touch more, as my own success... thumbsup.gif

Does your friend have to be zero nic for the operation?

His surgeon said that he would heal faster and with minimal complications without nicotine intake.

As an aside, three years ago I severely broke my right ankle, which required emergency surgery and some metallic hardware. Although all is now well, my ankle has a permanent bruised coloration (circulation related), thanx to my >2 PaD habit at the time!
