What is your set up ? Are you setting up your own coils and wicks? What resistance etc. The only time I have had a sore throat is when i get dry hits, or burning filler ( when I first started) or when I was experimenting with lower resistance builds and like someone mentioned high PG juices.

I cant handle anything lower than .9 resistance, prefer 1.0 ish or I get a real sore throat. I must be a whimp because that is considered high ohms/ resistance these days.

Let us know what you are using and how. It is very important to make sure you are not burning your wicks or juice as it is NOT good for you to inhale something that is no longer vaporizing but burning. Second, though low resistance/ sub-ohm etc is the trend, its not for everyone. If you watch some of the YouTube videos many of the show off vapers are constantly hacking or have raspy smokers coughs and voices.

Tell us what you're using; your set up? Yes it could be e-liq. or even PG/VG allergies, but some people (like me) are sensitive to cotton. I have to use either silica or ekowool. If I use cotton (organic and boiled) a couple days later my throat will become scratchy. If you realize it's not a cold, you'll have to use a process of elimination to determine what it is that's causing it. ...And yes, drink plenty of water.

Just make sure your coils are still clean and not gunked up. If they look dirty you need to change the heads or what ever the atomizer , clearo is. All wicks/coils have a defininate lifespan so depending on your juice and consuption it might be due for change up. Drink lots of water and maybe try a 50/50 liquid blend. Also most ready made wicks are made with silica, which is not bad, but there are better silica than others. If you can torch silica and it stays or goes back to white its a good one. If you torch it and it turns brown, yellowish or flakes its not good.

Good luck and I hope the throat gets better. If you get very sore and does not go away, see a doctor. You might have allergy to anything from the liquid, wick material or even the coil material. You have to narrow it down.

I have a basic retail set up just a Fantasy battery and a smok pbc v1 tank idk what the resistance is. im not setting anything up but im gonna start getting into nano coils. i have a cotton wick inside it that I love lol.

It sounds like your dripping then? I heard someone else point out than when dripping, it can seem like your coils are juiced, because your getting flavor and such but in reality it needs to be more juiced and is dry. I had this issue when I started dripping, maybe this your problem?

Well I'm fillin up a tank not really dripping so its never dry hits always juiced I've been taking down lozenges and drinking more water. I found another post with the same issue and he said the vape was just drying him out so he cut back and drank more water. Some people say its vapers fatigue and eventually it goes away so im gonna see how this method goes for me thank you all for you time.

How could a spoonful of honey ever be offensive? unless you're a bee? :)

Well I had an idea that, folks around western part of world avoid high glucose/fructose food items and some even consider honey gross compared to low calorie sugar substitute or something like that. Apparently I was wrong. In India honey is not a general food item either but it is deeply regarded for it's medicinal properties.

I had a similar problem when I first started vaping. I could smoke cigarettes, but it was extremely painful to inhale vaper. I changed to a menthol / tobacco flavor (same base, same nico content, and same company) and it got better after a few days. After switching back to the original flavor, no problems.

As some have suggested, I tried to swap out atomizers with no change. I'm not really sure what caused it, but it could have been the end of my vaping if I hadn't been so determined.
