Another thought I had was that you had mentioned you were restuffing carts. I sew and craft and use alot of quilt batting and loose fiberfill. It is all treated with something. I assume it is a starch just like all new fabric is. Weather or not it is an organic starch or not, I have no idea, I do also know alot of it is produced in China. With that in mind you may want to gently handwash and dry it before you cut it up for the carts to see if there is any difference for you.

I guess we can only hope that the origional filling in our carts is a product produced without the stiffener/starch. Still alot we don't know about our new addiction/hobby.

You really might have something there. The carts that we order just for the e-cigs don't seem to bother me, but boy oh boy did the carts with that batting material I put in them hurt!

I keep reading about 'VG' and 'PG' liquid. Can we drop the acronyms for a moment and someone please explain to this dimwit (me!) what these stand for and why they're different? - Thanks!

Well, knowing what I know working with batting I consider it a concern. There are those who will poo poo it. But we just dont know. I gently hand wash the batting. Thanks for listening. Let me know what you think if you decide to try and eliminate that factor.

PG = Propylene Glycol
VG = Vegetable Glycerine
