Sores in mouth

The Lady that I introduced to V4L's has a problem that I need answers for.
She is really trying to use her V4L's but she keeps getting little sores in her mouth from the vapor. I told her right off the bat to make sure she drinks lots of liquids to keep herself hydrated, so she has been doing that. But, she still keeps getting little sores in her mouth. Could it be that she is allergic to the PV in the Ecigs?

Please help us out with an answer. She desperately wants to become a Non Smoker!

I haven't had any problems like this and I have been really hitting the Liquid Far heavier than she does!

Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I would suggest trying VG cartos.It very well could be a PG allergy.Look over in the health section for more info on it.

I have that problem with 50/50 PG/VG at 5 volts.

I'm okay with 20/80 at 5 volts or any ratio at 3.7 volts.

Lower PG and/or cooler hits are my obvious solution -- perhaps it will work for her.

I also used a lot of Listerine when I first started...seems that though a lot of people get quit zits, I got them in my mouth. They went away after I went to a higher VG and used Listerine....and lots of liquids of course.

Thank you all for the super fast replies! From what I read in the Medical section I think we hit the proverbial nail on the head right off the bat.
I'll check with her to see what products she ordered with her kit. I'm thinking she got pretty much what I ordered. I'll have her try some of my Spearmint Nobacco to see if that helps her out. I'm using the heck out of it and having Zero Problems with it. Everyone is different, so I'm not sure it will help, but it is well worth a try.

I had a few sores and bleeding gums when I first started, used a warm baking soda solution for a mouth rinse and it really helped. I still use PG and no more sores, so i think it was just the nic. Hope the VG helps her!

This Lady is a real sweetheart and we love her to death! So I'll try anything to help her get started on the right path with vaping.

I gots these sometimes. I thought it might be I am hitting it in the same spot so I hit from different parts of the lips. Eg. left side, middle, right side.

It was a minor side effect that I could live with. Or a symptom that I have to deal with.

I called our friend Becky tonight to check on her and to tell her everything that has been told to me; plus what I found in Research. She told me that her mouth is so full of sores that she can't stand it.
I told her to Absolutely STOP vaping and to start rinsing her mouth out with mouthwash or a mixture of Hydrogen Peroxide and water.
She is totally bummed out and thinks she threw away almost $100 on something that she will never be able to use again. I made a deal with her. I told her that I would order some PG liquids for her to try and I would trade her them for the Cartos that she can't use. If they don't help I told her that I would buy her kit from her, so that she wouldn't be out any money.

Op, I hope she sticks with it through the rough parts like this and I hope it's only the temporary kind and not a PG allergy! That is really a bummer! Quitting is hard enough with all the other nasty side effects

There's some good advice on how to treat it on that thread, and there's more info if you use the search ECF function. I don't think it's a major problem, I forget the rinse they recommend (Rinsinol?) but it goes away. Poor thing, I wish she didn't have to deal with this, it's hard enough to quit smoking.

.........yes, as are "quit zits", which I suffered through for a couple of weeks. They did go away. Hopefully your friend's problem will too.

You are a good friend to have, GPR! I feel horrible for your friend.. I'm very hopeful that this is just a quitting symptom, and she can become a happy vaper with us! Should the time come that you have to make good on your offer to buy her kit, I'll help you out with it if there are parts you dont want for yourself. You probably should keep most of it as you're likely going to need it anyway! LOL Unless her batts are pink or such!

I would stop vaping for now and see a doctor rather then guessing that that are from vaping for sure .I hope she feels better soon .

quitzits, interesting term. I never dealt with them as a teen. I noticed I got acne on my shoulders and wondered wtf, but ya I guess the poisons have to leave the body somehow. it's finally subsiding but rather an embarassing thing. I got what seemed like cankers in my mouth at first but ended up just me trying to suck the juice out with a violent ferver and cutting my cheeks on my teeth. that first week without analogs was pure hell for me.

If she decides to sell (which I hope she doesn't) I'll get in touch with you because she did order the Pink Batts and PT! I could use the chargers and the carts that she has not tried.
