Of course I bought my e-cig at a mall kiosk before I found this forum. I ran out of real cigs last night and am trying to quit tobacco altogether. I got a starter kit with 5 preloaded nic cartridges. I've only used my ecig 5 times around 10 puffs each. I tried to use it and I hardly get any vapor. My led is shining bright. Does this mean I already have to change a cartridge? I only have 4 left
Thanks to anyone who can help.

I have a Joye 510 and barely get any vapor. I've tried drawing fast and slow (mainly I do slow drags) but still get minimal vapor. From all the videos I've seen on youtube about the 510 they all have excellent vapor production. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I've been topping off the cart regularly so it's not lack of juice. (shrugs)

So JDL, you're not alone with minimal vapor production.

I would recommend a manual (push-button) battery for you. I'm not sure where to buy one that would be compatible with your ecig though. Sorry I can't help on that front.

yeah i need to check that out but i just spent $150 on my starter kit
Ouch. Even so, you won't have to spend much more for a while.

You can refill the cartridges. Look at the list of suppliers here at ECF. There are other good ones as well, but this is a good place to start. Find a reputable one with low shipping rates (for example, Rocky Mountain Vapor has free shipping for all orders over $14.) By the time your atomizers need to be replaced, you'll probably have saved more than the $150 by not buying cigarettes any more.

Buying directly from a supplier in China can be a good deal but make sure you leave enough lead time. A U.S. supplier can get your stuff to you in a few days. Thanks to customs, it will take a lot longer for purchases coming in from overseas so order at least 2 weeks before you think you'll need things (even longer is better.)

You might be able to ID your model here: E-Cigarette Models

Carts don't last long at all (especially if you have one if the little mini cigs that look like a cigarette). I hope you purchased liquid? If not, switch out cartridges and order liquid right away. We'll help you ID your model so you can figure out how to refill the cartridge in it.

Don't vape a dry cart that isn't giving much vapor... you'll burn up the atomizer. There are plenty of Suppliers in the West that can get a bottle of liquid to you in just a few days. LMK if you need some links.

I actually got 30 ml of liquid in my starter kit but all my carts are pre filled

Low vapor with any e-cig could be several things... bad charger, dud battery or flooded atomizer (have you tried blowing it out from the battery end of the atty?).

Also could be that you don't have a great atty (is it a Joye, or one of the Clones with a washer ring inside of it?). Clones can vape poorly.

Also, a 510 really requires a drop of liquid on the atomizer bridge (on the metal mesh inside the atty) each time you refill your cartridge (and when you start to use a new one, 3 or 4 drops on it helps). You must keep it wet to have great vapor. It can take someone new a little while to learn the 510 but once you get it, it is a great unit.

Lots of 510 info here: Joye 510 - E-Cigarette Forum

One of the biggest mistakes with a new e-cig is thinking that prefilled carts are going to last all day. You need to top them off after a little while (off or burned taste or when vapor starts to decrease).

Most likely, you have a cartridge that you can remove place drops on the white polyfill in the mouthpiece? If so, get your liquid out and add some drops to the cartridge and a drop on the woven mesh of the atty bridge and I'll bet you make great vapor. Don't be afraid to use the liquid!!
