I've been following a thread over on the DIY juice forum that I started about how my eGo-T seems to have mysterious flavor properties. The flavor comes and goes, even on the same tank of juice. Some suggested the Kanger T3 or a Nova to help with the problem.

I've used one of MFS' brand of clearo before and I'm not totally new to them. But MFS is discontinuing them, so I figure they weren't the best of quality. They were OK, but as with any new equipment, there's a learning curve.

The only batteries I have are the ones that came with the eGo-T starter kit (1000 mah), so firstly, if I were to get one of those mini Kanger T3 clearo, which ohm rating should I get to use with my batteries?

I have no intention of starting flame wars, but are the pros and cons of the both mini vivi nova and kanger mini T3 I should be aware of?

Am I just throwing money away by leaning towards the Kanger, and can you all throw your suggestions out as to where I might find the best price and dependability from a dealer?

thanks

Hey Blackbeard, I had the same problem with flavors coming and going. I also have the ego-T with a Vision Mini ViVi Nova 2.0
After I started rebuilding my coils the problem seem to go away. I was using 2.8ohm coils............the coils Im building are 2.0 2.2
seems to be much better..........plus I can run my ego-T at 3.8 4 and the battery last much longer. Dont know if this helps

If your ego is fixed voltage, it's running at 3.3 volts and will benefit from using the lower resistances. I've found that 1.6 - 1.8 ohm clearos give good results on typical ego batteries. If it is a Twist or Spinner variable voltage, then 2.4 - 2.8 will give you more ability to dial in your favorite voltage.
