Spare parts for my Riva

Hello, I'm posting here as suggested by a fellow PIF member. I am one week into vaping and abolutely love it, haven't touched analogs since my first vape. Reading through the forums I see that it's a good idea to have replacement parts (attys, battys etc.). I also have a KR808 from nhaler not liking it too much but I think it may just need a little more trial an error.

Can I use any 510 batty or atty for my Riva? The only place that seems to carry genuine Riva parts is EM and I'm not ready to drop $17.00 for shipping (need that money for more juice). If anyone has suggestions on what to get and where to go I would greatly appreciate it. What about Passthroughs, driptips and whistletips?

You can use any 510 atomizers on the Riva, but as for the batteries... the Tornado and eGo are the same, but I think the Riva has a higher mAh. So basically the charger you have will work with eGo and Tornado batteries... I hope that makes sense. I'm a bit flustered right now

Can you use cartomizers on Riva or just empty carts. From what I understand cartos tend to last longer and don't require as much refilling. Is this correct?

Cartos are an atomizer/cartridge combo. If you were to use cartos (which yes, you can) you would need 510s.

You can use anything joye 510 related on your Riva!!!
I use carto's all day long, actually gave up on attys altogether. The questions you are asking would probably be better answered in "the model specific" section.
I've had my Riva for 2 months, knock on wood and have not needed any other parts. it is good a good reliable PV...

I've been dying to try out the ego cartos. Don't mean to derail here, but where do you get yours from?

Also, back on topic, I have both Riva and Ego parts myself and I swap everything with everything. It all works together, even the chargers.

Thanks for the quick replies, I just got my pink Riva (very nice surprise in the mail box) so I'll be swapping those parts back and forth. I'm going to order some cartomizers, empty carts, drip tips and whistletips from lite cig.

You might want to try some LR attys too is they sell them. They are great on the ego/Riva, especially with a drip tip. I use both those and cartos now all time time.

Hi ladyzr, just in case this hasn’t come up yet, if you want to use your KR808 from nhaler with any of the 510 attys or cartos, get a 901 to 510 adapter, and vice versa - get a 510 to 901 adapter if you have KR808D-1 cartos that you want to use on your Riva or other 510 device. I’ve been “adapting” all over the place, and it’s good!
