The Tarsius tanks are all set. Turns out they fit the Rainbow Heaven version as well Quality glass and o-rings makes a BIG difference on the clone! Amber=Tarsius/Purple=RHC

I ordered a RHC kit, but really wanted the purple with a purple tip....now I haz a sad

No worries Elantis... The 2nd batch of short tips have been tooled, cleaned and polished. Went into the coloring process last Thursday so it won't be long. You know I'm gonna throw an extra in for ya so hang in there

When I got my other nano kit (ya know for the plastic tank) I did this to my Russian just for the fun of it...decided I didn't like not seeing the liquid level

Me too - absolutely. That setup lasted one tankful, I vaped it dry and burnt the cotton wick in half .

I too have been wondering about polishing one of my R91's...but I fear I would make more of a mess of it so decided not to attempt it.

Me too - absolutely. That setup lasted one tankful, I vaped it dry and burnt the cotton wick in half .

I too have been wondering about polishing one of my R91's...but I fear I would make more of a mess of it so decided not to attempt it.

I can go either way...

A shop I use to work at has a bead blaster and would do it for me or I can spin the Russian in my lathe at work, decisions-decisions...

The bead blasted would look pretty cool! I don't think anything like that is available so you would be the only "kid" on the block to have that setup

Would have to machine a plug for the rings to thread on to so the threads are protected, but would probably prefer that to changin' my Russians finish...

Only real concern is bead blasting tends to stress relieve metal so it could theoretically cause the rings to deform from the machined state...

I didn't realize that...but whatever you decide to do - would love to see a pic of the completed project (with the new teal glass in it of course )

I went ahead and ordered two tubes for my forthcoming kit (RHC)...will have to wait for the Purple Tips to come back in stock though but didn't want to get the kit and not have a beautiful purple tube to put on it

Buying the Teal tank made things super easy. Thanks Uno! I shipped the kit today with the tank installed. Look forward to seeing what you come up with in regards to customizing. You must post a pic!

I ordered the kit the day before the tubes, the tubes arrived today and the kit will be here tomorrow....sigh...
