whats the eta on the upgraded science of vaping tanks?

I own the SoV V2 kit, and #26 on spectrumtanks.com fits perfectly. I believe they are pretty much identical to the stock glass shipped with the Full Sized SoV V1 and V2 kits. Zero leaking, seamless connection to the rings, with the added benefit of color! I love 'em!

I think MurtcePs said that if there was considerable interest in and sales of #26, then he would consider running a batch of custom SoV tanks. I assumed that meant maybe nano sizes and other colors not currently offered on #26.

Order a couple and you won't be disappointed. And, show 'em off to you friends with SoV kits, so they order too. Once we deplete the cache of #26, I think we'll get more choices. :D Haha!

With murtcepS's blessing I ordered the Graphite tube for the Z-atty which he said was the closest fit to the tube on the Pro-v2 tank...and I'm excited!!!! This is going on the new Gunmetal Provari I just received!!!!

Plus it will be my "first" sparkle :D

He meant a better fitting SOV kit. I've seen a few reports online of the stock SOV leaking due to a thin o-ring / larger-than-perfect ID tank combo. A friend of mine has the SOV V2 kit and it is a very loose fit; although it doesnt leak profusely, there is definitely liquid trickling out. Like it's just 0.2mm off or so. Maybe you're lucky!

I think a better fitting glass tank, with colors, would be a winner.

murtcepS: "Here's the SOV V2 kit with a larger ID tank and upgraded o-rings. Fitment is superior vs the stock set-up....The tanks on the website are replicas of the stock SOV V1/V2 tank. We just got lucky and happened to have a size in stock that was a perfect match. The teal tank in the photo is custom fitted. Slightly thinner wall with more substantial o-rings. The fitment is much improved and if we end up making SOV tanks in the future they'll be custom for sure

Thanks, I'm really liking the gunmetal Zenkote - you will too, I'm sure! I expect photos of the sparkle once they've landed E! :)

In all honesty, my stock V2 glass was weepy. If I laid it down on its side, onto a paper towel, when I would come back an hour or so later, the towel was wet. However, even though murtcePs said that #26 was identical to the SoV glass - I find that the weeping problem has disappeared completely. With the stock SoV glass, I did have lots of play, or wiggleness even when the o-rings were snugging against it - that is no longer the case the my current setup, using the Spectrum glass #26. hehe! Maybe you're right, maybe I've gotten lucky. Like you, though, I look forward to the glass made specifically for the SoV kits. I'm happy with the full sizes I'm using now, but would dig having some colored nano options too. :)

Fantastic! If you would trade the dark blue for the teal, I'd love you forever! :D

Done deal! The teal tanks are finished so I'll be shipping your stuff tomorrow :) Thanks for explaining the SOV situation! Not much interest in #26 so far but we'll see how it goes.

The teal is my favorite without a doubt, the Amber is also a beautiful color...

Already have a Teal on the other rings so I held off askin', will probably pick up another at some point ;)

Really lookin' forward to the smoke, goin' to look nice with the polished Russian assuming I did a good enough job on the rings :)

Got ya shipped out today Uno :D Think it was smoke, orange and green. Looking forward to the pic!

BigCase explained everything perfectly. In a holding pattern for now but hopefully we can upgrade the SOV soon!

I know right - I really think I need to join a "support group" - the only vapemail I received today was a replacement pin for my Kayfun 3.1 clone (I snapped the other trying to tighten it), but the Gunmetal Provari is proudly sporting an IBTank with Smoke Spectrum Glass w/ the Smoke DT and it looks pretty snazzy now, that Graphite tube on the Pro-V2 will just make it classy ;)

You literally made me LOL bigcase! Matching nail polish

I got creative with the Aerotank today. Removed the silicone gaskets and found some o-rings that work :)

Thanks Elantis! Probably the best shot that ever came out of my crappy camera lol. It's a stock size... Larger ID but the OD and length matched up well. It's a triple o-ring configuration. The two you can't see act as shims/support for the other four that seal the tank. I think it turned out pretty nice and there's absolutely 0% chance of leakage. On the other hand it's a novice device. You guys could have this installed in a matter of a couple minutes. Will a novice user be able to remove the silicone gaskets and install 6 o-rings properly? I have no clue...

If I need to send instructions it's probably not website worthy. Learned my lesson with eBay folks expecting threaded Kayfun tanks lol. I'll order some o-rings and if anyone wants the set-up through ECF I'll accommodate.

And I learned my lesson in trying to help someone who ordered through eBay expecting complete Quartz kit with glass included -

I don't own one of these, but she is looking good! Thumbs up for choosing green as the model color, too - my favorite! :D

Too funny...but I really do like that Nail Polish ;)

You have until you post your new sparkly graphite photo to pick up the matching nail polish! :)

But obviously don't recruit me to write them ^^^^^^ example above

Hahaha!
