hey guys, new here.

A little backstory before I begin, I switched from cigarettes to vaping. Started off with mods, and when I discovered the "juul" I completely switched over from the "sub ohm" mods...(I think that's what they are called) to the juul.

To be completely honest with you, the juul was just way more convenient.

Now with that said, I've been through three Juuls now, and ALWAYS ended up having charging issues, and kept getting batches of junk pods. So I picked up the suorin air, this was by far the best tasting, most versitile peice I've had. I've had firing issues with those as well and went through two of them. Then I tried the boulder rock. (Absolute junk IMO) then I tried the MLV phix.. first pack of cartridges, two are leaking and one I was getting gnarly spit back.

I really try to take care of these things as much as possible, and I'm just getting sick and tired of bad cartridges, burnt flavor 10 hits into a new cartridge (yes it was primed)....

I want a DEPENDABLE, stout vapor pen, that is durable, I will pay for quality.

Any advice on what to try next? I was looking at the v2 vaporizers, but they are expensive, I'd like to hear first hand experiences with it if possible.

Thanks in advance

It sounds you prefer MTL to sub ohm. Perusing the MTL threads should give you a bunch of options. Iirc they do like the nautilus v2 over there. I'm a hand builder so my experience with modern cartridge systems is limited. You might really like an erollC, which is the last decent cartridge system I tried. It's unusual in that it's an actually functional cigalike

You don't actually have to spend a lot to get decent stuff especially compared to juul carts.

A clearance item like this from China at around $15 shipped is better and easier to use.
joyetech ego one mega kit

Thank you. From what I see that's an actual "sub ohm" device right?

I just like the juul style for the convenience, and the salt based nicotine seems to give me the right throat hit I need.

I myself wouldn't recommend another pod system, but that's just me. The juul is beloved as a carto though, mainly because it uses nic salts and a crazy high nicotine level (50 I believe). The wattage is fixed though, so it tends to be less overwhelming at first.

If you're used to cartomizers and you want something more versatile and fillable, you have lots of options. If you want easy drop in coils and convenience, I'd recommend the Aspire Zelos 50 watt kit, though you won't be cranking it up to anywhere near 50 watts. A pico setup of whatever type appeals to you might be a good option, too. The aspire kit comes with a Nautilus 2 and they've come out with an updated version, so you ought to be able to find it on sale easily, and it will be fairly inexpensive. I'm not sure that you can beat the Nautilus 2 tank for pure MTL experience, though it's good to research all available options. Just don't start out directly with a ridiculously low resistance tank that really does SubOhm and vast clouds, and DL. I have a feeling that might be too much to start.

A few other things. You'll probably end up using slightly lower nic in your tank than the Juul, so be prepared for that. Coming from the Juul though, I'd be looking at 24 mg juices as the LOWEST to start, though you may wind up going lower-- or higher-- depending on what works for you. A non-carto system is likely going to give you a bit more vape, depending on what wattage you run it though, so even if your nicotine is lower, you may still get satisfaction.

Some people who started on nic salts prefer them. Some people lament that they don't get the exact same experience as the Juul, and that's likely due to a) different nicotine, even different nic salts or b) not getting 50 mg/ml, which is extraordinarily high. Some vendors do offer nic salt ejuice or you could even start to DIY juices and you'll have more control over what you are vaping. Not something to necessarily start out with, but it's a good option down the line. I prefer nic salts and bought my wholesale nic base in nic salts as I found I wasn't vaping any *more* than I do regular nicotine, and I like the smoothness, as well as the fact that some say they are more quickly absorbed and "mimic" cigarette smoking. Since it really wasn't that much more expensive, that's what I bought, and that is what I use. Other folks find that regular nicotine works just fine for them and they go with that option. There are no right answers, just trial and error, and finding the right setup for *you* that gives you the satisfaction you need.

Best of luck with your new setup!

Google Innokin Endura T22. It has several fans here. It's a no mess, no fuss system that you basically charge, fill and vape hassle free.

Highly recommended for people who don't get into all the complicated techno stuff we hobbyists and tinkerers love to yak about.

I currently have 7 family and friends plus myself using either the T18 or T22. It's simple. Constant 14 watts. Sturdy. Tanks don't leak. Coils are cheap from Fast Tech. I used the hot water clean, and am now on my second use of the coils.
But it's not for everyone. It's designed specifically for long term smokers who want a device that replicates the act of smoking.
You smoke it just like a cigarette. You can't vape direct to lung with it. It doesn't make big clouds. It's not for the hobbyist or cloud chaser.
It functions perfectly if your desire is to quit smoking and you want a device that functions and operates as close to the act and feel is smoking as possible.

IF you really want something like the juul again and don't wanna move back to mods and tanks i'd say try the Aspire Breeze, has a fire button (i hate those "suction detector" things) and is refillable, so no need to buy more carto for it, just buy whatever liquids you want and fill it up !? :D

I too am a fan of the Endura T18 & T22...They're both good solid "Blue Collar" kind'a devices...But what I really love are the Endura Prizm Tanks...Coils are dirt cheap and great taste...I also own an Aspire Zelos which came with an Aspire Nautilus 2 Tank...Good Tank, Air Control, Flavor and I love the Zelos Mod...But if you offered me one N2, T18 or T22 my choice on the house...I'd take the T18 or T22 in a hot second...I like the N2 but they're a bit of a pain to Re-Fill and only a 2ml capacity...The T18 is only 2.5ml but that extra 1/2 makes a difference...Trig

My wife and I love the Breeze. But if OP is looking for an all day unit, in my opinion it's not the right choice. Heavy use will only result in about 4-5 hours of battery, sometimes less. Small liquid capacity means bring juice with you. Plus it's a bit messy to refill. Even if you have the charging dock, it's not really a good choice for an all day workhorse in my opinion. It's great as a backup, change of pace, or if you want to go stealth.
It's also not a true MTL device, it's a sub ohm coil and the air hole is too big. The only way to get a True MTL hit is to partially block the air hole with your finger. Other threads say they are developing above ohm coils for it. That would help. Just my opinion.

Yes & No...A Spinner II works fine...But they love the Zelos...And on the T-Batteries...For anybody who thinks the vape is a touch on the warm side...Back the tank off a 1/2 turn just to give it a bit more air...Works For Me !!!
Great tip. I'm going to try it. People always talk about the endura as a kit and don't really talk about just the tanks. Both are really good tanks. You have proven that they are capable of successful use on other batteries.

Nice precision :) i don't have the breeze since i don't do mtl anymore (and frankly i need something that's substancial size wise) I was mostly pointing Op to that since it seems he wants mostly a pod solution or something similar. If it were to me i'd suggest more something like the nautilus 2 for mtl but that's me :p

Kudos sir. I just backed my tank off a bit. It does cool it down. I don't mind the warm vape. But backing the tank off allows me to take an even longer drag. Excellent discovery. Now it can be used both ways, snug or loose.

Don't get me wrong, the Breeze is nice. But op was worried about spending money, and I didn't think it was the all day answer.

Trig, I had to tell you this. With the tank backed off, I was able to take a DL hit and blow a cloud! Goes to show me how important input from members on this board is. That piece of info you supplied actually opens up more possibilities for potential users of this device. Great discovery!
