Congrats on your first week and glad it's going well.
I do agree that some folks just prefer MTL smaller higher nicotine setups while others just gravitate to DL setups and that is what works for them. Whenever a new vaper can AFFORD it, I usually recommend starting with a relatively basic two battery mod with removable batteries and trying one of either type of tank. It's kind of the only way to know for sure what type of vaper you may want to be (although some tanks, like the Crown Uwell do at least offer some pretty robust coil variety) but the thing is, it's just not entirely about resistance, it's also about draw and airflow, and etc. To be honest, I think it's worthwhile trying both types of vaping, or at the very least, trying ANOTHER WAY if you are struggling with either a MTL setup or a DL setup.
I think the tendency of many vapeshops to push in the sub0hm direction may or may not be doing SOME folks an injustice of a sort. I mean, we do get folks showing up at ECF saying "my setup is not working" (I was one of those vapers) and without ECF intervention I am fairly certain I wouldn't have made the transition I did.
It's frustrating to be told "spend more money" and etc, especially early on and I 100% get that and sympathize but I was not enjoying my "Quit" that far, and I don't think I would have even had I kept going a while longer as I consistently didn't enjoy tanks I won that were supersub0hm I don't even enter those competitions so much any more, I mean I'm like, "I know I'll hate it.":
And then there are vapers who like MTL for stealth reasons, and those who sort of cross the gamut and etc. IDK. I do think it's worthwhile to try both styles of vaping, even if one is a very inexpensive tiny sort of thing, if nothing else, well you have a backup in case your preferred setup dies and etc.
