All of these people know that if they break the rules, there will be consequences.

I wasn't "threatening", I was simply saying that the people that have been banned were just as aware of the rules and regulations of this board as anyone else.

Man...People's perceptions are WICKED skewed, lately.

PROTIP : I'll never ban anyone that disagrees with me, simply because they disagree. The only thing that will get me to hit the ban button is a direct and flagrant violation of the rules of the forum.

Disagree with me, all you like...Love me, hate me, whichever...Just obey the forum rules whilst you do so, please?

Um, I think a lot of people have been disagreeing with Terra in this thread.

In regard to being offensive, well - I suppose that will depend on individual mods. I think some here are a tad more - um - "touchy" than others.

For the most part I don't think that the rules here are so difficult to understand. As a general rule - if you wouldn't say it to someone else's mother, you probably shouldn't say it here. There are lots of ways to express displeasure or disagreement without offending anyone. Do I love that? Not particularly - as I'm a grownup with both a temper and a potty mouth in the "real" world, but I realize that isn't acceptable on this forum and so I refrain - because there is too much valuable information here that pertains to me - to tilt at windmills.

I am still trying to figure out what the problem is!
Kate and Spikey are grown women who took a stand, they knew what would happen and did it anyway! In fact they invited it as a way of civil (or uncivil depepending on how you look at it) protest. So they got sent to jail for the time being..like a few of us haven't? Nobody attended a sit in?
Both will wear it as a badge of honor if they decide to return and if they didn't excede the point thing.
Right or wrong, I support them as great ladies and good people and hope they return.
Let the mods do their thing and the rest of us get on with doing ours.
