OK, I can see the use of videos for, say, how to build a coil. But video reviews of flavors? Really? Is it all that hard to just type out a description. (Unless it's the crab e-liquid, now that was priceless!) By the time it takes for me to listen to your silly little introduction, I could have read 2 pages of reviews. Really- it doesn't take that long to say it's XXX flavor from zzz vendor at yy mg of nic at pg/vg blend so why drag it out for 3 minutes???

Just call me a hater, but in general I hate videos. I can read faster than most people can speak, and I don't need to see video of someone speaking. I'm perfectly capable of reading a story and looking quickly at the accompanying pictures.

I don't like the juice reviews because taste is is based purely on ones palate. But if I was a reviewer I would rather do a video for a couple reasons, its easier to do than typing for me. I hunt and poke for the correct letters on the keyboard. Some people lack the ability to use a dictionary or thesaurus which make reading almost challenging like you're trying to learn to read all over again in a different language.

While I agree that, aside from instructional videos, they are a bit unnecessary, I have to disagree on the flavor reviews. Video or not, I find them helpful. It's sort of like movie reviews. You find someone(s) with similar tastes to you, and can use them as a fairly reliable review source. Also, with juice, you have the issue of things not tasting anything like their advertised flavor. I would prefer to know that XYZ vendor's "mango peach" tastes nothing like mango or peach, and those are pretty easy flavors to at least assume are reviewed as advertised. I see far too many "so got this thinking it would taste like apples and cinnamon, when in reality it tastes like sewage and rotting flesh."

It's pretty safe to say that I can steer clear, because chances are I'm not going to find the apples and cinnamon in there lol.

Obviously you haven't watched Pbursardo's videos. I'd watch him review a glass of water.

I have. He's about the only one I can tolerate. But as far as juice reviews, honestly I don't need to watch someone vape in order to get their opinion of a juice- I much prefer to read a review. But then, I find TV and movies a waste of time, too. I'm usually reading something while watching TV.

Yes I must agree I like P Busardo's videos although they are somewhat lengthy from time to time.

Yea, I like the reviews and how in depth he goes with some stuff. When I open one that is like a tank review and its 40 minutes long it's a bit strange... then I realize its because 25 minutes of that is random musing+a contest+ him talking about his weekend+etc.

PB, if you're reading this... could you please have two video sections, one for reviews and one for a personal diary blog:D Funny thing is, I would still watch the diary blog, but at least then I would know which videos are the review stuff and which are the other random jazz :p

Hate is a pretty strong word. Lack the patience to make it through most videos is more of what I am looking for. Some of them have been helpful. The problem is, to many of the good ones are burried in a steaming heap of crap. If I am needing a answer, I just post here. Somebody out of the forum masses has probably got a link to something useful ;)

On the plus side of that though after his lengthy video you have a very good understanding of the device and if it will fit your needs and to be honest I enjoy the musings and such they make it much more personable.

I'm with the OP on this one. Typed reviews are SO much easier to work with. Maybe it's just because I'm more of an electronics geek and prefer datasheets over descriptions, but I can't stand sitting through 5 minutes of descriptive analogies to get the facts. Even with hardware reviews, I find myself skipping through the video and just stopping to get a closer look at the device from various angles. Videos seem to be the only alternative for a lot of reviews these days, though. It might be time to just get used to it I suppose...

I enjoy both video and written reviews. Having said that, if I'm researching something and need to make quick comparisons, the videos can some times be excruciatingly slow to get to the point. If the videos had a brief written point form summary attached - that would be my ideal. Quick check when needed and a more leisurely, and in the case of PBusardo, entertaining video experience.

All about choice.

I hate the word ''HATE.''

Hatred (or hate) is a deep and emotional extreme dislike that can be directed against individuals, entities, objects, or ideas. Hatred is often associated with feelings of anger and a disposition towards hostility. Commonly held moral rules, such as the Golden Rule, oppose universal hatred towards another.

You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against your kinsfolk. Love your neighbor as yourself.

Well call me old fashioned, but I prefer to just READ reviews rather than watch them. Seems like those people like to ramble a bit and I don't have the time. Just want to know what it tastes like, if its good, how it vapes. I don't need a big back story..

But I LOVE having videos for technical stuff.. like wrapping coils. I would be lost if I didn't have the visual demonstrations of how things should go.
