Hello all,
For a few days I've been noticing that the front part of my tongue feels burnt while vaping. I thought spitback could be the cause. But then I don't know if the liquid can get that hot that it can burn your tongue or not.
Anyone else have the same experience?
Any inputs?
Oh yeah it can.
What tank are you using?

I haven't had it happen on my TFV8's, but I did on 1 if my RDTA'S. it's because of how much liquid I primed the top with and I used to many watts when I fired it. It was like fried chicken shooting grease out of a pan. Not pleasant at all.

But does it only happen in case of over priming?
Because i just fill my tank normally and everytime for the first few hits... There's spitback. Any advice?
How old it the coil? It could be from over priming, been there done that more than once.

It's a week old 0.4ohm coil.
With over priming it's understandable. But why does it happen otherwise? There's no gurgling either. Proper hit and randomly after 5 hits there's spitback.

I don't really understand the flooding concept here.
What exactly happens? All the liquid comes inside the wired spring thing(coil) ?
Yes, sometimes when you draw through the chimney it will draw more liquid into the coil than what is actually being heated/used by the coil. So the excess just pools inside the coil after the hit.

But won't it just flow down to the base and then come out of the airflow?

Sometimes but not always.

Okay so i checked from the top and it doesn't seem like there's any flooding.
