I have had this magneto for about 9 months or so...it has always been a champ. All of a sudden the bottom cap is getting hot, i realize the current is being transferred where it shouldnt be and (as a result i believe my vapor production is way down). I have completely cleaned it with 91% alcohol, that didnt stop it. I ultrafined the gold contacts, that didnt stop it. I rebuilt the rda and that didnt stop it. I have been running this magneto, IGOW, ribbon kathal, organic cotton low ohms for a long time. Oh i forgot to mention I have 4 panasonic CGR18650CH 10Amp batteries which all result in the same problem. I took a shot a very lightly ultrafine sanded them also. I look at the contact points and the mod looks fine....ive become quite familiar with how this setup functions and I am baffled.....The only part i cant look inside is the plastic insulated break, with gold plated metal that connects the button press to the battery and completes the circuit....IDEAS?!?!?!?
