Ryanair to Offer Smokeless Cigarettes on Flights

The European low-cost airline Ryanair is bringing back "smoking" on planes by offering smokeless cigarettes to their passengers.
Similar Smokeless Cigarettes, which look and feel like cigarettes, will be available to passengers 18 and older for $9 (€6) per 10-cigarette pack. Passengers will get their "hit" of nicotine from inhaling, so there is no need to light the cigarette, according to the press release, and the smokeless cigarettes also contain no toxins or chemicals, so they are not harmful to the smoker or the people around them.
According to a recent survey, more than 24,000 passengers said they would like to smoke during flights. Ryaniar spokesman Stephen McNamara said the smokeless cigarettes will make for a "more enjoyable and stress free flight for all passengers as non-smokers will no longer have to cope with moody smokers in need of nicotine.”

It's a simple regurgitation of something they know nothing about. The average person is susceptible to that condition. It's called ignorance. Which most pass of as knowledge and self righteousness.

This is the way of the people, thus why media attention is so important. If we can get the media to say that these are healthy alternatives to smoking that permit only water vapers with no traceable chemicals dangerous to anyone around (no second hand smoke issues). There will be a parade of zombie like wingnuts who will follow.

Why is our government so damn slow to actually use some common sense.

Common sense doesn't pay as well as lobbyist $$$.

thus why media attention is so important.

Unfortunately the media is no longer a straight "facts, just the facts m'am." enterprise. Personal bias is the ticket these days, from the owners to the editors to the reporters.

..."News Entertainment"...

You know, like Professional Wrestling. It isn't a sport; it is "Sports Entertainment" :)
